This game is set in the 1940's, mainly when a lot of dictators were around in the world. So... please use technology that was used in THIS time. Thanks!

Welcome to Dictator RPG, where you become the ruler of a small settlement at the beginning.. that could escalate higher than you could imagine, or become a mass system of poverty.

To begin, Fill out this Character Sheet:

Info:

Mountains would be high up (good protection

Dictator Name:
Bio on how you came to office:
Settlement type: Village
Population: 500
Technology: Bolt-action rifles, Barbed Wire Fencing, Wooden Huts, Basic construction , Tool-Making
Buildings: 250 Huts (2 pop. = 1 Hut.) , Barb-wired perimeter of village, 1 Guard tower
Location of Settlement:
Minerals: None
Food: None
Budget:$500,000

Location of your settlements can be the following:

island- It would mainly be gaining trade by Naval use. May be a good spot for tourism, could be a good defensive use. Would mainly have fishing as a Main Food Source. Small - Medium population.

Mountains - high up (good protection from neighboring Towns/Villages/Cities/Etc.), Great source of minerals for Building, Military, and Trade use. May have harsh weather conditions during winter. and Etc. Small-Large population)

Plains-Flat land, Great for Agriculture, No natural protection. 0-7 mineral sources. Small - Extreme population

Desert- Very hot. Your population has adapted, so no worries there. All sand: No Vegetation. Ok Defense from enemies from the heat. Very Little water from an Oasis far from your settlement. LOTS of oil. 0-5 other Mineral sources Small - Large Population. Also can get cold in the Evening, so raids may come more frequently at that time.

Jungle- Lots of wood around you. Mainly village-sized Settlements around you at the beginning. A river is near you, so a good source of water. A great amount of protection, unless you clear the wood out overtime. Fruit grows out of most of the trees, and you can plant vegetables once you clear out a spot of land. Unknown Mineral sources.

I see my scavengers and the majority of my researchers are idle...this will not do. Have my scavengers go out searching for food, and my researchers research something that requires nothing...like math, specifically architecture.

Your researchers rub their fingers in the sand, and make a counting system that is pretty easy for your villagers to understand (Counting System discovered) .

After that, they finally figure out that you can add 2 and 2 together, and make 4! Who knew? They try it with other numbers they made up and found out that they all figure out! Such a smart group of scientists (Basic Math Discovered) !

They then use what they've recently learned, and figured out how to combine it with your building teachings. (Moderate Construction Discovered)

Your scavengers go out of your land, looking for new creatures and vegetables to bring in better varieties (And perhaps tastier) of food. What now?

You stand in your hut, thinking of ways you could be attacked, and think of ways to counter back. You then train fierecely with the visions in your mind. Afterwards, you speak into your mirror, practicing your speeches (Military and Social). You feel you are starting to improve yourself. What now?

You start counting the money, thats a good start right? seeing how much is in your village's treasury? Currently you have five hundred thousand coins stocked up in a hole, guarded by your guards for later trading... or a currency system (Once you have a source of ore)

You then take your rifle out to the desert, and fire off at some cacti. You hit a few of them where you had wanted, but the rest just grazed them. At least you are practicing!

After the sun goes down, you decide you are a bit chilly and go inside. You practice your speeches and social skills one last time before you go to sleep.

You and your people have survived the first day as a civilization! You made some good discoveries, and your people are still out searching. But, they should be back in the afternoon or so of the next day.

(What your people had collected is now in the village inventory)

Early in the morning, you would say around 5 or 6 a.m. Your soldiers report back, a little tired from scavenging around the whole day. They immediately wake you up quietly, and say they've found only ONE Oasis, about 2 or 3 miles away. But, they've found two caves. They didn't explore into them, but they saw some shiny objects from the outside. These could possibly be mines, but you will check on that later. You get dressed afterwards and eat a bushel of berries. You then roast a hare for your breakfast.

You then call forth a few soldiers, and explain them to get rested for a couple hours. around 8 a.m. , you wake them back up and give them rifles, arming yourself with yours also.

"All right guys, we are going to scout ahead for any villages or towns nearby. We could possibly gain new technology, establish trade if possible, and they can help us with any enemies.. or the other way around." They then agree, seeing that if they didn't they would be punished, and head off with you into the desert.
