This is a thread on Mythical Creatures and Beasts, obviously.

So what are you're thoughts on some? Do you believe in them? Which one(s) are your favo(u)rites? Etc. etc.

Now, who would like to share a mythical creature/beast with us?

Well I like the Minotaur xP
I don't believe in any, I don't think you're supposed to either, hence the word 'myth'.

Yes.
Personally I like phoenixes. With the re-birthing and stuff.

Ah, the half man, half bull. Pretty useful in combat. Not a good person to socialize with.

Umm, I don't believe in mythical beasts, but I believe in some urban legends and that stuff (cryptids)

I like to think most of them exist, but others are clearly non existant.

My favourite mythical beast is the phoenix, as a few AG users already know full well, followed closely by the gorgon.

hydra cebrees (sorry for spelling)

You spell it Cerberus if you wanted to know.

You don't have to believe in them. Just name ones you think are interesting. Wouldn't Cryptids be considered as mythical creatures/beasts?

Fact: Many people confuse unicorns with Pegasuses.
I <3 this thread.

Nice to know

I love mythology.... you can see where some of the ideas came from when you think Giraffes were originally called Camelopards cos people thoguht that they were a hybrid of camels and leopards.... i'm sure if the ancients had seen a platypus they would have freaked out (possibly more than they did when it was discovered :O lol)

I do like the stories that go with the creatures too though... all the stuff with the minotaur and Theseus etc. â; It would seem the ancients had a knack for coming up with amazing creatures ;â:

The Percy Jackson series involves a lot of mythical creatures.

Wait. I like Hippogryphs/Hippogriffs (whatever) also.
Just read the article?

i believe in bigfoot. thats pretty much it. it may be a huge fake though. cuz it might be a real rumor that its some guy in a huge gorilla suit with stilts. he also had those things on his feet that are shaped like tennis rackets that like Eskimos use in the snow or sumthin.

Nymphs, aa-maend, Nykken, nisser, hel-horses...
Not to talk about godly or semigodly beings like Sleipnir, Fenrir and Gam.
Hippocampi, unicorns, kelpie and pegasi.

The ghostly deer is probably my own favorite, though. A big stag leading hunters to their grave, or a ghostly doe showing you your death.
