You remind me of the enormous extinct whale they published recently, the Leviathan melvillei. It wasn't as huge as the biblical one, but with a 3 meter skull it was already big enough to eat other whales^^ another reason to think every myth has some parts of truth; such big remnants of animals has fed humans imagination in the past.
I like the land counterpart of the leviathan, the behemoth. Don't know much about what it is supposed to be like, but it's also a huge monstrum, which is always a plus XD
When I hear Leviathan I usually think of the book by Scott Westerfield and the whale airship that's called the Leviathan. I don't think about the other kinds.
I get confused over manatees.
Manatees aren't mythical at all. They're just sea creatures that are somewhat like seals and such. Wikipedia article on manatees.
So do I. Except if someone right by me turned into a werewolf. I would run like hell. Of course the werewolf would probably catch up to me sooner or later.

I like the air counterpart. Ziz. It reminds me a a griffin in a way.
Personally I like all kinds of dragons. The only thing I'm questioning would be the sea serpent. I think it would technically qualify as a dragon, wouldn't it?
well, i beleive in most cryptids. my fave monster would have to be either the alicorn,a cross between the pegasus and unicorn, or the hippogriff, a cross between a griffin and a horse. i like hybrids.
