I hope it brings as much justice to the story as the trailers seem to promise. Deep and eerie. Sadly the first part here has gotten a year-11 rating, if I remember correctly, which does say something about how they are going to portray it. The first part of the story might not be the most violent, but just like the characters, the story did become more mature over the years, and trying to make it a kids' movie might ruin something. Or ruin it for me when I am going to see it on a Sunday midday in two weeks. I can imagine the amount of smaller kids on a day like that could be rather big...
Either way, I have gotten over the "OH NOES, THEY SKIPPED SOMETHING/TOLD IT WRONG/BAAAW!!" a good while back, so I am just hoping to enjoy a good movie.
Well, the few reviews that've come in have been positive enough that I'm excited. I think Prisoner of Azkaban was by far the best movie, and one of the reviewers said that this movie was at least as good as it . . . so if that holds true, it'll be a suitable finale.
A game? The Harry Potter we're talking about is the movie coming out soon. Not the video game... sheesh.
As for the movie I just want to see it to see how different it is. Sure they'll have some differences but which ones will they be. I saw an exclusive look on ABC Family where Scrimgeour was handing out the items from Dumbledore's will and it seemed a bit like the book.
And personally I thought the fourth movie was the best.
I hated the last one im a huge fan of the books. This one in my opinion was the best book i hope they dont mess it up. Ill probably watch it (not really expecting much)

I totaly agree i wish they had made it a 15 even if that had ment i woudnt be able to see it (im 13). The book was very dark and a lot of characters died. If they made it more gritty and violent i would appreciate it more and it might not appeal to stupid 12 year old who didnt even bother to read the book (no offence).

Besides, all the rest of us (above 15) would enjoy it a lot more, if people with younger kids bought it on dvd instead *cough* Then again, there is the idiots that apparently can't hear or see the infomercial about cellphones > >...
Either way.
Watched it last night wasn't that good, you guys wont enjoy it that much.
Please do not assume how the rest of us will react. We might be looking at entirely different things when watching a movie, and just because you did not enjoy it, it does not mean we won't. Kthx.
Aaaaand... Only a day and 2 hours till it gets released here. I think I will go stare at the people in line for the movie on the - night.
I am a HUGE fan of Harry Potter-the books NOT the movies. The movies were all horrible!! Changed everything around! my favorite movie was the first because that was very much like the book. coolest part was chess match. I cant wait till i can watch it. My sister actually saw Daniel Radcliffe and Tom Felton at the premiere last night!!!!! The 7th movie had better be good!!! The 5th and 7th books were my favorite and they completely changed around the 5th movie so they better make the 7th good!!!
Definitely did not like the scene were Harry dies.
Good thing that is in the next movie, eh. (Liked the scenes after that a lot less) It has gotten really good reviews this morning in TV. It is sold out in all cinemas in the country. And I have to wait a week and a half to see it D:
Will be good to see how it goes, though. Movie or not, they stated there is a lot of character building in this first part, which is something the other movies have lacked a bit (seeing they are movies trying to tell the story of a book, it is understandable).
