I think to watch the movie you would have to read the book also because if you didn't you wouldn't know what 1/3 of the movie was about. Oh and about that nude scene, I read an article that said Emma was wearing a strapless though Daniel was indeed shirtless.
I enjoyed the movie overall, although I felt as if it were a bit rushed.
I might be mistaken, but I don't think Bellatrix ever tortured Hermione in the book
She does its just never described (as the characters never see it) they can just hear hermione screaming from downstairs. So you can see why they did it the way they did in the film. However i think with this particular scene they could have been a little more subtle i dont know why it just felt more laugable than anything else.
It's a "vision" that Ron gets, of Harry and Hermione stepping forward, looking at him for a while, then suddenly both of them are naked and kissing each other. Or their bust area (down to their clavicles or so) are naked, and then the swirly smokelike material that the "vision" is made of covers everything else up. It's not particularly sensual or anything. It's just there, because Ron fears it. I wouldn't even call it a nude scene. It's just a kiss.
I know wat happens ive read the book more times than you can imagine. i justed wanted to know if the mist is clear enough that you can see their bodies.
everybody is saying there is not much of a nude scene but assasin said there was. can someone confirm.
There is a "nude" scene, technically. But I wouldn't call it a nude scene, because they're not really nude. I mean...you never see anything. At all, really. It's all shrouded in mist, or otherwise hidden. It's just an implication. No big deal.
I personally liked it. What I hated is it isn't complete. Like the 6th series which would have been better of as the first part of the 7th series since the ending was extremely terrible.
It's called cliffhangers. :P I think they ended in a really good place. Hard to say why, it just felt like it'd be there, so I wasn't all "what, no more?? D: give me more!".
It was very well executed, I think. It did a good job explaining a lot of what we missed out on from the last movie, like Bill now being scarred from a werewolf and that way pointing towards the wedding more naturally as well. Of course there was things they went over lightly, but I don't really think they hurt the movie from it. My sister was generally unamused by it, until we sat down and talked about it, then suddenly it seemed that all the subtle little things made more sense to her again, and she actually thought it was a really good movie. Point to them for making the locket scene being rather eerie with the way they portrayed the soul and mind of the locket. Point to the actors for making their characters look utterly tormented.
Only real thing I have against it would be the light. That grey depressed light during the entire movie, even in the Lovegoods' residence, which probably would have been better, if it had had the happy colour on the walls being actually happy. It would have been a very welldone break from the depression of the rest of the movie, and the feelings the character had. After all, they did believe, however uncomfortable they were, that they were safe at Lovegood. He might be nervous, but who wouldn't be with a world of death eaters. The only real break there was from it, was the story of the three brothers, really well done (even if the story told and the story shown were rather different) and enjoyable to look at.
Oh, and one last thing, which was really pointed out to me by my sister: I really do hope they do something to explain the taboo, because however clear it is to people who have read the book, it isn't quite clear to someone who hasn't, unless they are sitting and analysing the movie while watching it. Or at least in the first or second viewing.
I liked it. It was really good, and as a stand alone movie with an ending like that, I was satisfied. And longing for more or to watch it again, because it was that well done. Ending one and two: thumbs up to that.

I totaly agree that wasnt explained at all but Ron should have exaplined it when he came back. Oh well they might mention it in the next one (i hope so anyway).
