The aren't better. They just hide and wait for someone to walk by then kill them then go repeat the process with another individual.
They are better, because at the moment it's the most effective tactic. If people had adapted already and made the force of habit in properly dispersing campers, then I would imagine the people camping in the first place would be smart enough to adapt even better.
That's just my philosophy tbh. But camping does block off choke points, it does stop the enemy in their tracks, it does demoralize them and it does make a bigger emotional effect than running around killing somebody.

I don't see it as that. Killing is killing. You're eventually going to die. But there are so many ways of accomplishing it. I don't see how camping and then killing someone can demoralize an individual. If you take the game more seriously then yes. But for me it's a no. I'd say that if you have a gun and then someone is running at you with a knife and the person with the knife wins then that should demoralize the person even more.

At the moment. I'm talking about people doing it the whole match. Not just at certain moments when it's necessary.
What does your average CoD player say to you when you own him?
what is your definition of average? When I play in a room full of people and someone just camps and kills someone they don't rage like that.
It's always necessary.
Okay.. so, just going into a hiding spot when the match starts and staying there and hoping for a person to pass-by just so that you can kill them? That's very unnecessary and slows down the whole match. Also you won't get many kills by doing that. The most you'll get in an average room will have to be two-four. By average room I mean that the players are of middle level. Not too low not too high.
Well, not exactly average. But pretty much the ones that make noise, what do you hear more? Squeaky annoying noises; An actually intelligent person who doesn't wish to be a ****** to everyone,
and staying there and hoping for a person to pass-by just so that you can kill them?
Who says you need to stay there? Besides if you camp right and get just a small amount of kills, you're still making a difference (often a big one)since you could be the only line of defense for that 'lane'.

For the record. Average MW2 gamers are definitely low-level compared to other games. Superior weapons, dull maps, the lack of dedicated servers (and thus legit competition) and etc. wear the game down into a time-waster.
However for Black-Ops since people have gotten used to shoot until he or she is dead, and the fact that they need to aim since every bullet counts, it's getting much more difficult. However I've no idea what the Dedicated Servers are for since I have not heard of or seen any mods. :<
The small maps are prone to spawn trapping, same with some areas in large maps. There are also bad spawns I've seen where often I have been killed by a player (probably the one I just killed) spawned behind me.
Oh and no I don't camp
I'm speaking from experience.
From my experience, they do stay there as well. But camping in the fashion that I put it is definitely more effective and efficient in terms of time.
That's odd... since whenever I find a server everyone in there has a pretty normal to high rank.
I don't fully understand the question. But I'll try to provide an answer. In Modern Warfare two the players in the servers that the game puts me in are normal to high ranked then those of Black-ops. That's one of the reasons why I enjoy playing MW2. I prefer it to black-ops since their aren't as many newcomers and campers in the servers that I end up in. That's just me though. You might think differently.

There are only a few smaller maps then the rest. I don't like them as much as the bigger ones where you can explore.
BO spawn system is worse. it doesnt matter how ( annoyingly) big the maps are, you spawn in the same place everytime. a more amusing spawn fail is when i was playing Team tac capture the flag, i died, waited 8 seconds, then i spawned in a open area to be killed by napalm, might i add only one other was killed. i could tell alful stories forever
As in a comparison :> But, then again you already answered :P
I don't know why you think that, from my perspective people on Black Ops have better aim etc, sometimes camp more, sometimes. But any "noob-tactic" is inefficient and in the end lethal to the player using it. Noob Tubes do soooo little damage, and Akimbo has such wide hipfire you mays well use a Shotgun.

True. Newcomers would come to Black Ops more than MW2. But that's part of the deal to me. I'm not going to regret playing with them if they're "nooby" and lower my general skill (if it does, because now I am AWFUL) because if it makes them better then... yay!
When people introduce some weird new curse words and insults to their mothers because they were hiding in the corner on their first game and got a kill.
For the record: I often see Rank 1's crouching around corners and never using sprint :>
I don't like them as much as the bigger ones where you can explore.
Haha indeed. I don't know half of the "little things" about all the maps, it's quite terrible of me actually. :/
then i spawned in a open area to be killed by napalm, might i add only one other was killed.
Napalm is OP. You can't see the ACTUAL fire that kills you until it's too late, it's prone to spawn killing you and it can go into buildings too.
