What's the most emotional experience you had in a video game? For me when I was playing Fallout: New Vegas and I was in the Nipton town hall and "Johnny Guitar" played on my radio. Having that sad song in the creepy building kind of made me scared and sad at the same time. And I admit I was almost going to cry when the song was about over.

good topic! It would have to be in Black Ops, Domination, on firing range, while i was using the FN Fal and the crossbow, i got 64 kills, which is pretty awesome if you ask me. I had some good DMB playing in the process.

I was playing Black Ops and I saw the guys on my team under fire so I charged the bunker with a machine gun and a rocket launcher just as this song came on the radio and it was me charging a bunker + a tank and dieing to save my teammates and at the end of the song I had tears streaming down my cheeks.

Resident Evil 4, I almost peed myself. So freakin' scary that game, unlike RE5.

Syphon filters Dark Mirror and Logan's shadow

Especially in the end of Logan's shadow when Shen Rei kills himself and Gabe (main character) is killed by Trinidad

Any of the early Resident Evil games were really scary for me. Most of them on the PS2. Especially because I was little and thought that zombies were actually real.

My big brother would scare me by saying they were real and told me that were going to come for me. That made me cry a little back then.

there are 3 really sad experiences for me not in particular order:
1. when aeris doed in ff7. i knew this would happen and i was still shoked. from that point i always felt alittle empty while playing that game like something was missing.
2. when xion from kingdom hearts died. this was really sad. i mean dieing is enough but in the end no one could even remember her.
3. when grovyle from pokemon mystery dungeon sacrificed himself and went back to the future. that was like grovyle dieing for me. i really liked him in the game and it got me really mad when they were happy about the main character coming back but didnt even mention grovyle one.

but a few years after that when i played pokemon mystery dungeon sky i was really happy to find out what happened in the dark future of grovyle

Excellent topic, we may be able to know a few decent storyline games.
I'll have to add to the list the endings of both FF IX and X. People who played those will know what I mean, very sentimental.
Aeris dying and the post-ending in the credits, in FF VII and VIII respectively are very touching too.
May I also add the first Silent Hill for Ps1. It's amazing how the whole atmosphere had you nervous all the time, even when there where no monsters around, despite the old school graphics. The same feeling came with Silent Hill 3.
Hope more people post on this topic

I had a lot of emotional moments in 'Heavy Rain'. If you've played that game you'll know how sad it is. For that man to lose his son and then live his life how he is.

The most emotional I get is usually a small amount of sadness and success when winning a really long difficult game on high difficulty or whatever. I don't remember any games in particular though.
