What's the most emotional experience you had in a video game? For me when I was playing Fallout: New Vegas and I was in the Nipton town hall and "Johnny Guitar" played on my radio. Having that sad song in the creepy building kind of made me scared and sad at the same time. And I admit I was almost going to cry when the song was about over.
In Halo Reach after Jorge blows himself up into oblivion to blow up a giant ship, and then like a dozen more giant ships jump out of slipspace *facepalm*
It was probably when I finished the main story for the game Pokemon: Blue Rescue Team and Pokemon: Explorers of Darkness. I don't know why, but I couldn't stop myself from crying when I had to leave the Pokemon world and go back to the Real world...
lol sniper me too. that was really sad. btw. if you liked that you have to play explorers of th sky. there is a bonus episode that is really touching tyhere (2 actually). not sure if i said that already but mine are: when aeris dies.when th character in pmd died or leaves. when xion died. and when tidus died
For those of you thinking that may be odd, if you spend an entire game with your hose as the only living thing aside from some lizards and giants trying to kill you. Then you'll realize why it has such an impact.
Shadow of the Collosus, the death of the horse. For those of you thinking that may be odd, if you spend an entire game with your hose as the only living thing aside from some lizards and giants trying to kill you. Then you'll realize why it has such an impact.
Hell, I played a game like that. I think it was a dog that helped serve as a guide sometimes. As soon as he died I immediately remember feeling unsafe, insecure and lost. The worst thing is? His death wasn't scripted or put into any part of the game, it was just a monster that leapt on him, killed him and I ran before he could come for me as well.
... Very powerful impact.
Oh, by the way my brother-in-law played the Amnesia: The Dark Descent Demo. No big deal, he saw a monster and proceded to follow (I gave him a few tips) cautiously. He jumped more than a rabbit when he unintentionally stepped on red goop which hurt him.
Illusion of Gaia, Terranigma, and Soulblazer. Just about any part where they're going into detail on a character only to have them kick off later. Enix put a lot of effort into character development in these games.
i had the most scarry emotion when i played modern warfare 2 and i was at 24 killstreak and you need 25 for an tactical nuke. but btw i was scared and happy at the same time
