What's the most emotional experience you had in a video game? For me when I was playing Fallout: New Vegas and I was in the Nipton town hall and "Johnny Guitar" played on my radio. Having that sad song in the creepy building kind of made me scared and sad at the same time. And I admit I was almost going to cry when the song was about over.
i had the most scarry emotion when i played modern warfare 2 and i was at 24 killstreak and you need 25 for an tactical nuke. but btw i was scared and happy at the same time
If only you had hardline...
Anyways one of my most exciting moments was when at the end of a race in Split Second I was right behind 1st place, and during the last couple seconds it was 1st!2nd!1st!2nd!1st! and at the last second I finally pulled into 1st and won!
Is it just me or is the "I was on CoD doing X and Y happened" or w/e starting to become a little more "been there, done that" thing? Hell, it's a nuke, and? I got 2 in a row, and? I was happeh, but it was nothing unique, it wasn't a first time for everyone, it wasn't special in any way. It was just me beating easy opponents the most blunt way possible.
If a campaign mission or event is enough to make you post on this thread that isn't just "when ??? died, I was so upset" (because as well all know a bit of context and explanation help) then that is incredibly immersive. That is why I also put forward Amnesia: The Dark Descent, watch this:
No, he is not a wuss, no, he is not faking. To people who have not properly played this game, he looks pathetic - I thought the same, and so did my brother-in-law. Need I repeat what happened to my brother-in-law in the same game?
Buy it, play it, try to enjoy it. Best Horror game / movie I've ever seen, to be fair.
Only seen Part 1, on a separate video but. My god. The best part is the re-- Spoilers.
The best part is the rejuvenation of eachother near the end of the first video. Even though they probably despise eachother they're going about it incredibly honorably and furthermore with respect. Pretty heartening to see that in a game.
Wait. It's Japanese. Lol I expected that since I involved the word "honor". :< I find that generally Asian countries like Japan still seem to maintain a sense of honor and it's pretty awesome to have in one of their games to be fair. If it were an American game you would expect the enemy to cheap-shot you in the back in that fight instead of allowing mutual aid.
For Britain? Meh. Probably just set up tea and biscuits.
I'm Welsh btw, and this is supposed to be taken lightly (the American / British part at least).
I'd say Bioshock was probably the game that actually gave me some form of legit emotion. I was legitimately furious when you meet "Atlas" and you find out what "would you kindly" really means. (I would divulge anything to anyone who has yet to play)
Shock and awe. And of course a little bit of profanity.
Mine was probably when i was on Fable 2 when I was almost at the end of the game, I was married, and had a good faithful friend dog. A lord named King Lucian Told me that My Family (including my son) was dead and he shot my dog right in front of me.. i know it`s a game but i cried a little
