Well, it can be as big or little as you want. Anyway, when/if you do find a coder, at least we'd have everything thought out.
As for supplies, I was thinking they just came out of nowhere, because that would be a lot easier to go with. You just buy the supplies and use them. If you really want, you could always build some sort of dock thingy. Then you wouldn't have any way to get supplies at the beginning, though. Just so you know, the supplies (for now) are wood and nails (I think these will go together), brick, stone, metal, and rockets.

Yeah, I suppose a fantasy mode would be cool. And I had a thought. How about we have a minigame mode? There'd be one disaster each time period. During that disaster, you could participate in its prevention. For example, if we had a wolf invasion, you could control one of the snipers. If we had a meteor shower, you could control one of the SAM/rocket stations. I figure you two will either love or hate that idea.
Why do you keep naming big-name flash developers? :s There's hundreds of developers that would be willing to collaborate, I just have to take the time and advertise it. Anyways, like I said, I'm making a write-up, it'll be here soon.
Alright, I just want to say these are all the things I think are appropriate for this game. I'm going through and through pg 16-22. If your idea didn't make it, please don't be upset, because it's not that it's bad, it's most likely too hard for me to do. Disasters, followed by possible defenses (unofficial): - Wolf Attack : Guard Towers - Flood : Sewer grates - Acid Rain/Plauge (Linked) : Antidotes - Volcano Eruption : Evacuation (?) - Lightning Storm : Lightning Rod - Meteors : Some type of Rocket Launcher Upgrading Defenses (unofficial): - 1 Guard Tower < 2 Guard Towers < 3 Guard Towers < 3 Guard Towers + Snipers < Better Accuracy for shooting + More ammo - (Sewer Grates) Storage gets larger as being upgraded - Antidotes become larger in supply and heals more health. - More Lightning Rods when upgraded, more effective, too. - When upgraded, Rocket Launcher will get more ammo, and multiple Rocket Launchers, and last upgrade would be automatic aim. - Evacuation from city will be quicker. (More to come) Ideas about Gameplay(unofficial): - You start out as a small village with wooden huts and 0 defense. As you continue playing, you will be able to build stronger and taller buildings for more defense. - I've been thinking really hard on how the player could purchase things, and I think the best way would be after defending a disaster, depending on how difficult it is, you would get some type of credit system. - There's no winning. It's more of a survival type game, where the player tries to get the longest survival time/points. Haven't decided which one will be prominent. - You will be able to name your own city, fun. - There will be a local "Home Depot" type store always in your city, where you can purchase things such as nails and material, to build on your city. You obviously can't build a building from scratch, but there will be some type of system, I'm drawing it out.

I thought we were skipping the snipers and just having the guard shooting at the wolves. I was also thinking of the two types of upgrades being more like 'damage + sight/accuracy' and 'number of towers'.
1. I had the idea that the snipers would be the guards. 2. So we're making it that you have to upgrade certain things, and we're not doing the tree-ish setup?

Ok, so let's see. We'd gain currency from grants(?) for successfully defending, which we'd use to buy supplies from Home Depot(?), which'd be used to construct buildings. Just making sure I have this correct.
I'm thinking we have a preset amount, and we try to survive until we run out or die. Maybe you could gain money from every disaster averted, like every time you kill a wolf or something like that?
Personally, I like that. We'd have a certain amount upon starting, and we'd gain more by killing wolves, etc. Sounds great so far.
