Hackers caused PSN to shutdown, but I'm really mad that it has taken Sony, a multi trillion dollar company, 3 (going on 4) DAYS to take care of the problem. That's a fail
It's okay Nubz--it's unsubstantiated, irrelevant "ground" they are standing on. It's like arguments against the Wii, except the arguments are more meaningless.
Visa & Mastercard have stated that there have been no creid t card thefts directly related to this alleged '25 million accounts stolen'
Expect Sony to use that in court, if that ever comes to fruition.
i saw the video on whatever saying psn would be restarted on may 31st. a few things to say in regards to that.
Restarted doesnt mean psn cant come back until then, it just means everything will be back online by may31st.
if psn is down for over a month we better get over a month of bonus services.
even so, im glad there is finally a date. i mean a month is a long *** time from now but still, its better then "tomorrow" for a month. It's like my dad going on a diet, when r u ganna go on a diet, next birthday.
From the blog announcements I've been reading, I believe all services should be up by whatever date they re-establish service, unless I'm forgetting some part of PSN/Online.
I heard Sony is developing a whole different server.
Guys from Gamestop told my friend and I that they've received emails from Sony saying in a week the system would be back on, but of course, they resent the email the week after.
dont get mad at sony get mad at the hacker. lol its not their fault. sony should have psn back sometime so for now play colony or something. god i wanna play crysis multiplayer
As renegadeplayer said, people shouldn't really blame Sony for this because it isn't their fault they got hacked. It could easily happen to xbox live anyday and who knows maybe it will. I also disagree with the fact that anonymous is actually responsible, for some reason I just don't think that they are. I could be wrong though. That is just my opinion on the matter.
they arent. they always say when they hack something because they're proud of it. they would just say that they didn't hack psn, and if they did but they aren't admitting it because they didn't mean to get psn down and piss off 77million people then they might deny it but the wouldnt continue to hack the psn and steal personal information
just so u all know i have a ps system and its been goin on 3 weeks now its ghetting really annoying how can a multi national company like playstation not fix it!!
lol :P pickpocket they're going to hit 31st and have a press conference saying it will be back by Halloween. but on the brighter side of things, they said that playstation services would be restarted on the 31st, not psn coming back on the 31st. what that means is everything will be back to normal by the 31st, that doesnt mean they wont restore some features before then. it doesnt mean they will though, either :/
