Hackers caused PSN to shutdown, but I'm really mad that it has taken Sony, a multi trillion dollar company, 3 (going on 4) DAYS to take care of the problem. That's a fail

well they announced today that hackers got into them and possible found out some info on credit cards and did find info of accounts. hopefully it should be back by tonight or tomorrow considering they have had a week of everyone in the ps3 company working on the patch
I've been so bored without MAG or Black Ops i actually Aced every single level on LBP1 story mode. and now I have nothing to do cause I got bored of killing people on AC.

well they said they should have it in a week. not sure if its a week from the 21st or the week from when they announced it... the 26th so yeah probably ganna be back a week from now. great thing is, is that my birthday is on the 30th and its ganna be a great! ya know without the psn and all

The last official statement I heard was that Sony was rebuilding it to remove all possibility of this happening in the same way again. The system was not destroyed, information was taken out of it.
This is fu*ked up but i don't even have good multiplayer games except RDR. Its good that i bought Elder scrolls iv GOTY edition, gonna play it until i can play in PSN.
to anyone who STILL thinks its geohot, how about u do some research. its really starting to annoy me. latest news they gave out was that it could take another week and that they might have taken credit card information and they did take psn information. Geohot says they didnt hack it and they always say when they hack things because they take pride in it. it wasnt geohot, it was a hacker, weather he was from geohot or not. right now they are adding security so this wont happen again. _another thing i wanna say, some people go to forums and just say "get a life" when people r complaining about psn being down, they r REALLY annoying because they bury the news, people who say "yeah thats why xbox is better" dont have a clue, and people who got religion involved in this r just aggrivating. go to the tavern to talk about that
this is upsetting me too. they did try to make an arrest on Tuesday, but it turned out the guy wasn't the hacker. my friend used to know how to hack, and he told me that there are files out there that could make it look like you computer was at the bottom of the Atlantic ocean. this is why it is hard to track him down, he can bounce his signal around the world until it looks like it came from a south pole station. when it comes up, i would be willing to pay like $5 a month to make sure stuff like this doesn't happen again.
