Well after receiving a digital camera for my birthday, I have discovered the wonderful world of digital imagery...well...basically 400 photos a day...lol...(that was only on one day...)
So that brings me to the point of this Topic...basically, here is a place where you can share photos you have taken.
The only real rules are:
- Use constructive criticism only. - Only add scaled down pictures...nothing that will be cut off...so either scale them on Photobucket or somewhere else. - Add a link to a full size image for everyones viewing pleasure... - You have to have taken the picture...copyright still exists. - If you want to use the picture, then please contact the owner / photographer first.
I think that's all. Also, if there is enough interest then a photography competition may result...
So, without any further ado, I give you the first picture of the gallery...
My Cat Jaq
I took this photo when he was sitting on top of a water tank in our back yard. Yes, he is shaved and yes, he does have fat rolls...
NOTE : THE ABOVE IS A GOOD WAY TO SET OUT YOUR PHOTOS
So...Lets see what you've got...I wonder how long it will be till my amateur photography skills will be terribly crushed by someone with excellent skills...and a SLR camera!
Oh that mess is nothing! You should see where I live now. It's like a cave, and there's pillows and plushies and clothes all over the floor. Even with allergy you can still enjoy the cuteness on photos?
Cuuuute! Glad I am not only one into photography. I am actually getting a digital cam this christmas hopefully. Canon Rebel XSi, which comes with a nice 15-55mm lens! Later on if I am still that into it I will be getting macro equipment, which is for very small pictures of plants and bugs and shit.
Oh, the image code was capitalized. I think that was why. Anyways, I was just messing around with shutter speed while walking around some of the shops downtown, and I got the picture of a fake robin on a Christmas tree they had.
Ohhhhh. I get it. It's okay, it happens hahaha. It was actually taken back in September, I think. I take a lot of my photos for my high school photography class, but I use my own camera for it.
These are some of my favorite photographs that I took when living on the Bodega Marine Reserve:
The baby deer were always one of my favorites to watch. This one was very curious of me, as I was watching it =)
Purple shore crab. They like to hang out at the edge of the mudflats under small rocks and boulders. This one was very shy and upset that I lifted up his rock!
A wooly bear on lupin. These are the cutest little caterpillars that you will ever see. In the spring they are everywhere, and we always tried to save them from getting crushed by cars when they tried crossing the roads. They looooove to eat lupin!
