Well after receiving a digital camera for my birthday, I have discovered the wonderful world of digital imagery...well...basically 400 photos a day...lol...(that was only on one day...)
So that brings me to the point of this Topic...basically, here is a place where you can share photos you have taken.
The only real rules are:
- Use constructive criticism only. - Only add scaled down pictures...nothing that will be cut off...so either scale them on Photobucket or somewhere else. - Add a link to a full size image for everyones viewing pleasure... - You have to have taken the picture...copyright still exists. - If you want to use the picture, then please contact the owner / photographer first.
I think that's all. Also, if there is enough interest then a photography competition may result...
So, without any further ado, I give you the first picture of the gallery...
My Cat Jaq
I took this photo when he was sitting on top of a water tank in our back yard. Yes, he is shaved and yes, he does have fat rolls...
NOTE : THE ABOVE IS A GOOD WAY TO SET OUT YOUR PHOTOS
So...Lets see what you've got...I wonder how long it will be till my amateur photography skills will be terribly crushed by someone with excellent skills...and a SLR camera!
I love wooly bears! ^_^ They were fun to test my macro setting on.
I have an Olympus Stylus 1030 SW. I love it because I can take it underwater! I just wish that I was able to take it deeper, so that I could take pictures when I dive.
Haha my dad has a diving camera its great fun. We take some amazing pictures sometimes! But it is hard with the current going on, keeping it still enough so it doesn't blur!

I never thought of that! Most of my dives have been in pretty calm waters. The thing about diving cameras is that they are soooo expensive. Or if you want to get a housing for a normal camera, its an extra couple thousand. Too much!
This one is underwater. It was in a pretty shallow pool though, so the image was too close and it is a bit overexposed. But I still like it =) It's a kelp crab.
Great shots Carlie. What lens you use? Too lazy to look up if you said it. Also whys the res so low, you got them in bigger sizes too I presume? I'd love the caterpillar one..T_T
Those are quite amazing Now I feel sad that I still use an old nikon film camera. I've taken some stunning shots with that one. Maybe I'll get some of them scanned and put them up here
Wow, Carlie, you study at a really beautiful setting. And love to all the critter shots you have, very pretty pictures.
Yea, unfortunately I only studied there in the spring. So I am not near the ocean anymore. But it was nice while it lasted =)

It's a point and shoot. And yes, I have them in higher res. I am not sure why they uploaded so very small... but my camera is 10.1 megapixels, so I have some veeeeery large versions of them.
