So apparently we aren't allowed to make "rate above you" threads, So I am going to go ahead and make a "Review above you" thread since the "Review That Movie" thread is going pretty well.

So anyways, keep your posts to AT LEAST a couple sentences, and if you have never heard the song PLEASE look it up on youtube. Since this is classic rock, not metal, hard rock, rap, or hip hop (AC/DC, metallica, cannibal corpse, Lil Wayne, 50 Cent, etc...) IS NOT ALLOWED.

So anyways, here is the first song!

Heartbreaker by: Led Zeppelin.

A classic song by a group of 4 genius people... who were on LSD. The song is relatively short since it's considered an introduction to the rest of the songs and sometimes it is tied with With a Little Help From My Friends. Nevertheless the song is a great song with a great guitar intro and vocals done by Paul McCartney. 9.7/10

8/10 Love the music to that song. The members of pink floyd are great musicians and make good music.

Aerosmith's version of Come Togetar (orginially beatles song but I thought aerosmith did a good job with it)

8/10 that version is hard rockin' man! I've always loved their lead and rhythm guitar parts, strong beats and basslines, and Steven Tyler's vocals always have this amazing, rugged quality to them.

Pink....Pink...Pink...hmmm. Its a pretty good song, a tad repetetive and I would have loved some more complicated guitar or something. But it is a good easy listening song. So I give it a 7/10

Now how about

Julius by: Phish You don't have to listen to all of it, just maybe the first 4 mins of it to get the idea of the song, the rest is just an amazing jam =D

Ahhh man...I love this song, Great Gig in the Sky, Its so mellow at the beginning and with some nice piano and then just crescendos into madness around the middle and starts to quiet down...just kind of a nice song to stare out into space to......

8/10

How about

7/10 It's a very cool, solid song. I always like the lyrics of pretty much every Grateful Dead song, they always have a certain thing every other band lacks.

Ahh man...Although it is a popular (and sometimes overplayed) song, it is still epic. You gotta love that awesome guitar at the beginning, classic! Over the Hills and Far Away is simply and all time favorite for me.

Aqualung by: Jethro Tull

3/10 Sorry but that was rediculous. Horrible Lyrics and what were they wearing lol. The guitar was pretty good, but I don't like how the beat just suddenly changed and it got soft and quiet. (Don't be hating me just cause of my opinion and what I said about this)

Haha its cool, I know that Jethro Tull is pretty weird and that it would not get a high rating, they are on the weirder side

Anyway, Rush, simply great band. I love Tom Sawyer, its a classic. The keyboard and that awesome bassline is the best, it just all melds together so well.

Weekapaug Groove by: Phish

You don't have to listen to all 10 minuets of it...just the first couple to get the idea of the song.

Gahh, PLEASE read the first post people! This is a REVIEWING thread, you may also rate the song, but also leave a couple sentences on what you thought about the song! Please don't ruin it for the rest of us by not following the rules.

I'm going to go ahead and rate and Review Houses of the Holy, but PLEASE continue to follow the rules and leave a review and not just a rating.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Houses of the Holy, a GREAT song off of the album Physical Graffiti, which in my opinion is one of Led Zeppelin's better albums. I just love the guitar in Houses of the Holy, it just sounds so...i don't know...catchy i guess. My favorite part of the lyrics in that song are "Let the music be your master, will you heed that master's call" 8/10

Now

how about
