So apparently we aren't allowed to make "rate above you" threads, So I am going to go ahead and make a "Review above you" thread since the "Review That Movie" thread is going pretty well.

So anyways, keep your posts to AT LEAST a couple sentences, and if you have never heard the song PLEASE look it up on youtube. Since this is classic rock, not metal, hard rock, rap, or hip hop (AC/DC, metallica, cannibal corpse, Lil Wayne, 50 Cent, etc...) IS NOT ALLOWED.

So anyways, here is the first song!

Heartbreaker by: Led Zeppelin.

@kirby: THIS IS NOT A RATE THE ABOVE THREAD! THIS IS FOR REVIEWS *ONLY!*

Won't get fooled again is a great Who song. Daltrey never ceases to impress, Townshend is godly, and John pulls it together into a masterpiece.

Yes-Coldplay. SOMEONE ACTUALLY REVIEW IT PLEASE!

Like you say it barely counts as classic but I'll do it never the less. Nice string intro and the guitar is good. I'm not a huge fan of Coldplay but they are pretty good. The lyrics are nice. I like the strange indian style bit in the middle 7.314/10 (you can't tell I've never heard it before now can you)

Despite not having the best guitar, bass, or drums, there was something about Summertime Blues that just made me want to like it. It was a really catchy song. Not much else I can say about it considering I don't know much about the band...Just that it was a really good song that I wouldn't usually like. 7/10

5/10 It's alright, but to me the tempo is a little unusual (not always a bad thing), but it is a very strange song. Though I do like the tone of the guitar.

I'm a fan of Nirvana though Grunge isn;t really my thing. Come as you are is probably in my top 5 songs by them. Good lyrics as you would expect absolutely impecably written and the overall energy of the song is well transferred to the listener. 8.314/10

I'm gone for 2 hours and everyone seems to FAIL on this thread! Except you pixie, thank you for abiding by the rules =D.

Remember people this is a REVIEW thread I can't stress it enough. I don't know how many times I need to keep telling you people! I really want to keep this thread going and if you guys keep posting nonsense it is probably going to get locked! so please PLEASE PLEASE remember to Review (at least 2 sentences) and not just rate.

And for you people saying that you don't know the songs (google 567 and Zihark) look at the hyperlinks that are right in front of your eyes!

Anyways, I am going to post my song again since no one ever reviewed it.

7/10 It's quite good. The Grateful Dead have a nice, rootsy sound, really puts me back in time. They're all extremely talented musicians, Jerry Garcia's voice is just mystical, and the lyrics always paint such clear mental images for me.

And now for the greatest dirty love song ever written.

Try and review it sensanaty

The Ram Jam band look awful I always laugh whenI see them and Black Betty is a brilliant song I love the heavy guitar chordsand the strong drum beat throughout (especially the part in the middle similar to "A legal matter" by The who). I'm not sure of the origins though I have heard it a slavery song. Wherever it came from it is brilliant and the lyrics are very good. 8.314/10

9/10 That is possibly the greatest British R&B song of the early 60's, love the powerful instrumentation on all fronts, and Eric Burdon's voice is refreshingly rugged compared to other groups of the time.
