So apparently we aren't allowed to make "rate above you" threads, So I am going to go ahead and make a "Review above you" thread since the "Review That Movie" thread is going pretty well.
So anyways, keep your posts to AT LEAST a couple sentences, and if you have never heard the song PLEASE look it up on youtube. Since this is classic rock, not metal, hard rock, rap, or hip hop (AC/DC, metallica, cannibal corpse, Lil Wayne, 50 Cent, etc...) IS NOT ALLOWED.
8/10 Love it, one of my favorite who songs. Love Keith Moon he's and excellent drummer. This song has a nice beat get relaxing beach type then gets more classic rock and I love that. (please people Keep this thread going)
Creedence Clearwater Revival-Have You Ever Seen the Rain. (If you haven't heard this song please look it up and listen to it, it is a classic)
9/10 That song is so great! This is just one of the CCR songs (the other being "Bad Moon Rising" that my family always does when we sing and play guitar around the campfire. I love the lyrics, vocals, that piano piece is nice, and overall it's a great song to kick back and relax to!
I'll try to be inbiased but it will be hard. Interesting intro (mandolin?). but I didn't like the vocals far too whiny at times but interesting lyrics. It did kindo f drag on though and their wan't much variety in it. 4.314/10
Nice song realy. I thought I wouldn't like it but I thought it was realy good. I love the beat and melody. Kind of a swingy type makes you want to dance. The singer is good, I like her voice. 8/10
20th Century Boy has a nice guitar part. Compelling and upbeat, this is a fun song to listen to. The vocalist does a good job. The lyrics are not that great, but the actual performance is exceptional. 9/10 ------------- Another Brick in the Wall, Part 3-Pink Floyd
4/10 I happen to like Pink floyd, alot, but this song, though pivotal to the plot of The Wall, is lacking something. Or perhaps my main gripe with the song is that the vocals don't have the subtle touch that would've been much welcomed, if only Dave Gilmour had been more involved in that album.
"I Heard It Through The Grapevine" by Creedence Clearwater Revival
This is such a great song, I just love the driving beat and the awesome jam that they have, its just a purely awesome song CCR is one of my all time favorite bands. 9/10
The Allman Brothers are a great band-and that shows in this song. Their instrumental prowess shines through, and it all comes together into an awesome Southern Rock song. 9.5/10 ----------- Dream On-Aerosmith
6/10 It's overplayed, but when it comes down to it, the riff is legendary and very, very cool, everything else is simply ELECTRIC, and the vocals have a seductively raw spice to them.
