So apparently we aren't allowed to make "rate above you" threads, So I am going to go ahead and make a "Review above you" thread since the "Review That Movie" thread is going pretty well.
So anyways, keep your posts to AT LEAST a couple sentences, and if you have never heard the song PLEASE look it up on youtube. Since this is classic rock, not metal, hard rock, rap, or hip hop (AC/DC, metallica, cannibal corpse, Lil Wayne, 50 Cent, etc...) IS NOT ALLOWED.
Well then click the frickin' Hyperlink that's right in front of you, what the hell do you think the highlighted blue text means?
On to the review, I guess.
7/10 the song is very relaxing, the vocals are powerful, and the story which the song tells is both motivational and somewhat heartbreaking. Bob Seger has true talent.
@xcalibur: This is a frickin' review thread, not a rate one. You have to review the song, not just post one badly punctuated half-sentence about it. ------------ Strawberry fields Forever-the Beatles
7/10 Nice vocal hook, and, as with other Beatles' recordings of that time, the instrumentation and overall sound of the song is quite trippy and strange.
Ummm xcalibur, please read the first post. At least two sentences and a classic rock song, disturbed isint classic rock, they are trash garbage or something like that.
But anyways for chaotix's songon't care for the lyrics, but love the guitar. Great melody, and love that classic acoustic noise.
Now for some Zepp "Good Times Bad Times" by Led Zepplin.
10/10 Led Zep didn't get much better than on the first album, and this song shows why! Plant's vocals are ACE, hitting the perfect tone, Bonzo's drums hit home, HARD and FAST, JPJ's bassline shows that Zepp could put a groove in a song meant for the Heavy Metal style and not make it sound out of place, and Page's guitar on this track, though mostly simple, spirals wildly and brilliantly into madness during the instrumental breaks!
i dont really care for led zepplin but the the song in general was great it was sorta slow for me this is possibly the gayest song ever tell me what you think Come sail away with me by Styx use you tube too find it
