No, that is ridiculous. You mess up in a plane, you go doun. You mess up in a car, 7 people go down. You mess up in a plane, you have 3,000 feet to catch yourself You mess up in a car well... Your engine fails in a plane, you glide to earth. Your engine fails on earth you crash. Anybody can get a licence, but a pilot's licence takes hours of flight time. In a car, there is no control tower...
a car theft happens at least once every single day?
andd how many of those cars ever blew up the world trade center? like 0. I don't think you understand how serious 9/11 was. mike told me that almost 3000 people died. mike also told me about the tenerife plane crash, where two planes collided with eachother. do you know how many people died in that crash? almost 600. has there ever ben a car crash that has killed 600 people? i don't appreciate you calling me an idiot either.
has there ever ben a car crash that has killed 600 people?
Not one. But I think that if you count up the different car crashes and the deaths and injuries they caused, you would find that there have been more people killed in car crashes and related accidents than there have been killed by a plane crash (and related accidents). It might not be as special and huge as a plane crash, but car crashes happens more frequently and can have severe consequences not only for the people driving the car, but to bystanders as well.
Well, Mythbusters tells us that the worst that a passanger can do in a plane (without blowing up) is break their legs) The worst in a car is always death. I view planes as a safer option.
Thats only because there are more cars on the road than planes in the sky, not to mention the number of idiots with drivers licenses. I would bet that if it were as hard to get a drivers license as it was to get a pilot license planes would kill more people.
i think planes are safer because you dont have to watch out for a bunch of other people... (along with the idiots that think there cool and drive fast).
Like I said long ago, because cars outnumber planes significantly and because they are more accessible, cars cause more deaths overall as shown in statistics. Comparing single incidents though, planes usually kill more.
From the statistics, planes are safer. However, when you're in the heat of the moment, about to crash and you know it, the "safety" is just a lie.
Cars are actually more dangerous. The road toll is increasing each day. You don't hear much about plane crashes . Not too long ago we had that Qantas Plane incident where somehow there was a massive hole in the airplane when it landed.

That doesn't change the fact that cars are more dangerous.
