laptops are easy to take around like if you travel alot and your always on the move but if they only place that you use a computer is in your home dont waste money on a laptop when a desktop is better

Laptop. For sure. I used one for school this past year and found it much preferable. Even for games. I tend to get tired of working in the same spot, and a laptop allows me to change my environment, preventing my from going bonkers.

well i use a laptop for college and work, because it is transportable.

for gaming or when home i prefer a desktop. it is better for gaming, you can upgrade it more easielly and it has a bigger screen

I like my laptop because I can lay in bed or be on the couch and be on it, but it's performance isn't as good as my familys desktop.

I prefer desktops, since they (at the moment) are usually faster and more powerful than your laptop. Thus, they are better for gaming. I also do not really need to have a laptop right now. Only time will tell.
