I know this topic has probably been done a hundred times but it's always fun to discuss weapons, If you have pictures post them so we can all see.
My favorties: 1. HK G36C 2. AA .12 aka Street Sweeper (full auto 12 gauge shotgun) 3. PWS Diablo (7in. piston upper receiver, about the same size as an MP5 but chambered in 5.56mm) and finally 4. Bushmaster ACR (formally Magpul's Masada and much better than the FNH SCAR in my opinion)
The Corner Shot. It is more of a system than a gun, but anyway, it allows you to shoot around corners. It also looks pretty awesome, with a nice little computer screen.
I've seen the corner shot used before, very affective for PPU's and spec ops in my opinion, I really like the corner shot 40 and APR. The 40 can shoot a single 40 mm grenade around the corner and the APR packs a small 5.56 assault pistol rifle.
Another weapon I forgot to mention was the Glock 18c. Check out this video of a guy firing one with a DRUM MAG, it's ridiculous... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kBjUDCyDCuI
That's far better in terms of fire power. The Beretta M9 can hold several more rounds per magazine and has a hire rate of fire due to reduced recoil. If we're going for fire power, take this:
The Smith and Wesson Model 500, the most powerful production revolver in the world. It was created for use in hunting big game, primarily African game.
All magnums have high recoil, but the d-eagle hold about 8-10 rounds while revolvers hold about 6-8 rounds. the desert eagle is somewhere in between that and the beretta.
Gotta respect both the Desert Eagle and the S&W 500 but for a sidearm, for me anyway would have to be the 1911. I don't have a picture of my exact one but here is a picture of the same model as mine
Kimber Custom Covert II .45 ACP with a Crimson Trace Laser grip. 7 round mag, 5 inch barrel, about 30 ounces empty, and has about 4.5 lb trigger pull to it.

Amen. That is a real gem of an automatic pistol. It was used by the United States Military from 1911-1985 and is still a wonderful gun, but it's not really modern in idea.

I know, but I just really like the 1911's for sidearms, you can't beat it in my opinion, can always hope for an upgraded 2011 in a couple of years?
Yeah I agree, if ain't broke don't fix it right? Another gun I just remembered was Kel-Tec's RFB, particularly the RFB-18 (18 inch barrel). It's a Polymer Bullpup in 7.62 *drools*
