the only game i used cheats on were GTA but that was so i could get the weapons and go on rampages. Other than that i don't really like cheats, sure some are handy, but many draw you away from the game and make it to easy when you should be using skill. sorry if it sounds as if cheat users lack skill, which is false. But cheats should only be used to help in a thought "impossible" part of the game and you die 1000 times

I rarely use cheats. Only time I use them is when I either A: Beat the game already or multiple times or B: I get stuck at some point where I could never pass (which rarely happens) after many atempts to get passed it.
Cheat codes are good if you're stuck on something or reaching a goal of like 9,000,000 points on the game.
Cheat codes are bad because some can freeze your game,restart it, or completely break it-I used an Action Replay on my Animal Crossing Wild World and next time I turned it on without Action Replay it just showed a black screen.Had too buy another one of that game.
Cheats are good if they give you things that are literally impossible to get in the real game. If they're just to make the game easier, then I would prefer not to use them. GTA excepted, of course.
codes that make stuff cooler without giving you an advantage are fine, but codes like infinite money are fun, but they ruin the game and its game experience

If you can't make your progress in game without cheats, you're hopeless.

If you want to piss off someone, use it. If you are a pussy rookie n00b player, use it. If you have some brain diseases, use it. In all opposite cases don't even think about it.
Offline = Depends on the game. I your cheating on a really easy game, then it ruins the flavor. But if your cheating on a really hard game or on a game that was made to be cheated on, like GTA, then it's fine.
I say wait till you beat the game, then use cheat codes.
