i really don't know on one side of the fence
if we kill them they get away with the crimes they have committed scott free, no punishment

then if we keep them in jail we use up tax payer money and they have a chance to be released on bail just waiting to kill again

what are your thoughts??

In Slovenia you can kill 5 people and you don't even get 20 years.

I believe that letting someone rot in jail is a worse punishment as long as the criminal knows what they did was wrong and sees the impact they had on people. An example would be person a killed person b and is sentenced to life without parole. During their sentence how ever they see that what they did was wrong and the impact it had on people so they then become haunted by their crime at this point you could either try to rehabilitate them and try to reform them so they can re-enter society, which you wouldn't do because they have no chance of parole and it costs too much which is why we don't already do it. Or you could kill them and put them out of their misery.

i think that jail is horrible and some people deserve it, but some people should just be killed and get it over with

you know, why do people get punished. Animals kill as much as we can, but if it was for fun, "oh my god, that lion just killed another one!" do they get punished, no. besides, we are animals too. just because we can talk, does'nt mean we arn't animals. I mean really. spiders eat eachother. sheesh. if someone just slaps you then you bleed, you get punished. fish eat fish. bacic fact. I'm out.... Peace.

I was referring to punishment. Of course we kill each other, how else would we be on this topic?

It seems wrong to kill someone as a punishment for them killing someone, so I think they should go to jail for life with no chance of parole.

I'm against it, as awful as it sounds the person who died it dead; nothing can remedy that, especially how the family feels about "justice". I believe that our prison system should be focused more on rehabilitation than punishment, for repeat offenders, however, I support life in prison.

how will that work tell him it was bad and it hurt peoples feelings then send him to time out? what if the person was sadistic?

Then he does it again and he is awarded life in prison, the better question is what if he is not? Also there's a good chance if he was the prison psychologist would make a note of it.
