I like to look at it this way: I could go to one movie and spend 6$ and be entertained for 3 hours, or i could get rs memberships and be entertained all month. World of warcraft is 30$ a month, plus all the booster packs and such. I can pay 5 times less, play with 10 times more people, and save money while I'm at it.

I'm a runescape player, I do like the game. It used to be about the levels, but now I play for the people. The worst part about runescape is that like 4/5 of the girls who do play are guys irl, so no one beileves it when a girl really plays.

Umm. Yeah. Miscalculation.
Due to the 1.5 ratio of £ into $ I'll have to put it out this way. It's £9 a week (roughly 13.50), which is obviously much more to say, £6 (9$), but what you probably don't know is that you can spend £46 for 6 months (69$), which $9 for 1 month is good, added up it goes to 54$, that's 15$ less. It's like paying 5$ to see the movie 300, or 20$ to see the movie The Expendables (Sylvester Stallone, Jet Li, Arnold, etc, check out the trailer ). Except you don't have to pay as often, it has better gameplay I believe we established, and it also has much better lore - I don't need to dive into RS lore, I am positive WoW lore is better That might not be true but I'm too sure to work my butt off looking for RS lore :P
Most people are saying that WOW is better but i wouldnt give $180 (i think) to play the game just for one year I would get dragon age because its so much better and RS may be free but gets boring to quicly
