I say they both suck, no real plot in either of them. All the game-play is grinding, grinding, grinding. Having said that I would say runescape because I would rather play a crappy game for free than pay for an equally crappy game.
I've played runescape for a few years when I was young, and that's about the only time it's fun. Never played WoW, though I played another game called Runes of Magic that looks like WoW but is worse in graphics, at least that's what I've been told :P. WoW is for a bigger range of people, so WoW would be the best.
WoW! WoW has way better graphics (in my opinion) the only reason i dont play runescape is when ur not a member ( free member) you dont get all the features, which gets me ULTRA bored. Im sticking with WoW.
In a sense, what he said. Runescape is fun and all, but it doesn't have much depth, so to speak. WoW is just epically vast. In my opinion, however, I'll pass on both. Right now I think MMO's aren't worth it. Though, in a few months, I'm sure I will be drawn back <_<

You clearly haven't played WoW. Look up WoW lore, it's stacked with a ton of story, you couldn't be bothered one bit to look. There are: Trolls evolved from Night Elves Humans evolved from Varykul (or how you spell it, the larger people in Northrend) Tauren evolved from Co-- oh wait. Blood Elves evolved from High Elves. Dwarves and Gnomes evolved into flesh as the Titans machines started aging over the years. On a side note, the Titans pretty much created the planet, along with Dragon Aspects to watch over, and an ethereal prison for the elementals (which are due to be released in 2010, however it could be delayed).
I honestly cannot be bothered explain much else to you, you seem lazy and you probably won't take this in anyway. Goodbye, and don't show your armatar here again. Oh, and it's not grinding on WoW if you do PvP. Dumb@ss.

I'm with Highfire. W H Y runescape? This game is a shitty one. Horrible graphics. WoW is waaaaay much better! The graphics are amazing, the gameplay is awesome, you've got loads of friends, you can do raids, and that's the best part!

Okay kakz, why do you think it's better? Does it seem to have more flow to it with professions and importance of some basic things? Or is it just that you're stereotypical vision of a WoW player is a freckled glasses-wearing nerd with mishaped teeth and braces? (I am not saying any of those are bad, people just seem to think it is, dw, I'm getting my braces in a week ) Because if so, you need to research more, actually you shouldn't lol, because only nutcases on WoW get on YouTube etc.
