Its simple to choose from these 2 names but ones u played both of them its quite hard... But i would still choose World of warcraft.
That half-explains it, most people would say runescape because they've rarely heard of WoW, and they'd have to pay, and the stereotypical WoW player is in my above post. So yes, I suppose it's fair to say that
It's not even a contest... WoW is p2p, but it's really worth it. (Too some people, not me xP) WoW has beautiful graphics, fantastic gameplay, and amazing storyline, etc. I played WoW once on my friends account, and had to force myself not to buy the game myself. RuneScape I never liked. I played 5 minutes and decided to never play it again. xP
My question is WHY do people care so much?! Sheesh. This was really just a topic to see who preferred what, and why. Not a "let's all prove everyone else wrong". I mean, come now. Each to their own.
I know Highfire, I understood: Why people prefer to play runescape to play WoW? They are crazy, YES, but every single person have their own thoughts about different games. We can't even compare these two games, WoW is just far way better.

People who take this too seriously might as well go away then And I'm not proving everyone else wrong, just that I am tackling all other arguments to the best I can, and currently have no challenges that await me (no intention to sound arrogant, by any stretch).
i dont get why everyone gets adicted to these games they suck. take my advice and play something like cod4 or halo3
Those are good games, but only when playing with friends. And I don't mean online, I mean you are sitting next to them playing the game. But as for playing alone, WoW wins. Yes you need others, but you don't need to even know who they are.
Runescape is just boring now then what it was before but W.O.W is more fun and interactive. But its also comming out with an exiting expansion with 2 more races! 1,000s more quests and more starting areas! so i would recommend W.O.W

You are aware there are more nerdraging sadistic fucks playing MW2 (and some CoD4) than on WoW ? Also they are more addicted whether you like it or not - they always play it like lazy douchebags, they don't do much else for other people, it's quite simply bad for personality aswell.
