How'd you get that impression if I may ask?

#1 They didn't show castle footage, which means they didn't want to use money to hire any sections.
32 Most of the movie was them in a tent, camping and some short scenes at London, a single village for a very short time and Ron's house. Compared to the other movies that is quite cheap looking. As for props, most of them wouldn't cost much to build.

Well That Movie Was Amazing, But its so gloom and dark! Not as much action in that movie as others! Overall they made it cheap and i agree with Efan.

But quite fitting for the plot for the book, considering... that is basically it. Harry's - home, Ron's house, the wedding, London, Harry's house, the ministry, camping, more camping, village, then some more camping, Lovegood residence, camping, Malfoyawesomeplace... After that, there will be BillandFleurawesomeplace, Gringotts... Hogwarts. Hogwarts. Hogwarts getting destroyed, more of Hogwarts getting destroyed, the forbidden forest, train station, forest, Hogwarts (trainstation, endcredits).
I must say the Malfoy residence was quite awesome, though.
And I don't know if I am talking crap because you have read the book, or I am actually making sense, but there really wasn't much interest in the school before they have to go there, besides all of them whining about not being there. Darn Voldie and his being evil.
*shrug*

I do agree on gloom and dark, though, but considering the story, I am not sure if that is something to be surprised about.

oooh, really? Oh wait Cen I haven--

Hogwarts. Hogwarts. Hogwarts getting destroyed

Cen you're going a little too f--

more of Hogwarts getting destroyed, the forbidden forest, train station, forest, Hogwarts (trainstation, endcredits).

Cee~~n! -_-

Also, you gotta consider that 6 of the 7 movies have been centered on Hogwarts. It's a refreshing change to not have part of the movie centered on this "Haven of Safety". Where the gang previously had this cosy, bountiful haven of safety (quote) filled with powerful wizards and aurors patrolling the campus, now are alone with nothing but the clothes on their backs, the knowledge of skills, and Ron's broken wand.

I've also noticed that Ron is the erm...Krillin of the group. I mean, even Longbottom, aka Gohan, grew up and became more useful than him. Sliiightly more useful than Aquaman.

Note:
All my posts will be made of spoilers I don't consider spoilers, because the books has been out forever now, and you could just go read it :P

Cee~~n! -_-

Best of all, all that makes so little sense anyway, it can hardly be called a spoiler.

I've also noticed that Ron is the erm...Krillin of the group. I mean, even Longbottom, aka Gohan, grew up and became more useful than him. Sliiightly more useful than Aquaman.

And yet, if it wasn't for him, they would fail. Without Hermione, they would fail. Harry, well...
Of course, as for the books, and since they have not mentioned it, I will assume it is not included, the secret radio show really does use Harry as a way to get other people to work together, to keep their hopes up, and hope there is an end to it all.
Other than that, he is mainly just a tosser who needs his friends to be sure he doesn't die randomly. Or makes it worse. He might be brave, he might have smarts, but dear God, does he have a sense of timing or thought for consequences? Noooooo.
And then there is spoiler points, and I can just tell people to go read the freaking book, because, considering they have not released the second part yet, and thus I have not seen it, I am not spoiling the movie, I am spoiling the book that has been out for a year and a half, if I remember correctly.
That the movie has the same story is just unfortunate.

Besides, without the book your don't get why I for example would have needed the happy colours at Lovegood's, or the little creepysweet part that Luna draws her friends on her wall in her room.

Btw, question: Has there been any of the movies where the forest, or part of it hasn't been in? Train stations? Gringotts? That place I won't mention because mr. F will Ceeeeeeeen me again. Endcredits are there too, and Bill and Fleur's place was pretty much spoiled in the ending of this part, because that was where Ron told Dobby to take them?

Oh, and more spoiler: Australia O:
Lol.

I actually didn't mind this movie for once... except for the whole "Oh hey Harry, I'm bill. yeah the scars, don't mind them. A werewolf gave them to me *wink*" >_< That's what you get for deleting an entire freaking battle from the 6th movie I suppose

Considering his work and how the scene was done, it could easily just be that. To have it in and have the joke about the red meat and stuff. Work hazard?

However, they missed a very important plot point in how bill and fleur got together by not having him in any previous movies. There's a reason why I'm constantly explaining why the movies don't make sense to my friends who've not read the books. It just doesn't make sense because they leave out important details

Thats so what i was thinking during that scene it pissed me off so much. Also did anyone notice how quickly they just skimmed across the whole Lupin and Tonks marrige thing? That was a large part of the books and now when certain things happen to them in part 2 *coughtheydiecough* people who havent read the books (6 and 7) wont feel that sad.

Again very very annoying the director made so much of a trouble for himself and just tangled up the story no end by missing out a couple of details. Well who would have thought it??????? GOD people are just a wee bit thick arent they.

I was really disappointed with this film, I read the book, and I shouldn't have bothered to see it, I had pretty much imagined it the way it happened, almost everything in it, I could tell what was going to happen next, no suspense at all, I just hope the 2nd part isn't like this.

I do have a distinct enough imagination though, I have a visual effect in my head as I read.
