I've been procrastinating on buying a new console (you know, distracted by ArmorGames 'n all).. I've heard good things about both, and both are now in my price range. Right now it seems like Xbox360 is the favorite, but in 5 years which one will be on top? I've always been a PlayStation person, and I feel like it could possibly make a comeback. My PlayStation is also my DVD player, so having that BlueRay would also be nice.. what are the upsides to the 360? And ultimately, which one is better?
ps3 is the best. it might cost more but, have you heard of all the xbox breakdowns? most the games are multi and all that. the graphics are great, you dont need a great tv to see that, and the games for it alone ( Resistince and Resistance 2 are a great example) are some of the best. GO PS3!!!!!!
Xbox 360, cheaper, better online multiplayer because more people own them, more games, more fun games, better graphics, cheaper games, better UI and blu-ray doesn't matter why would you want to watch movies when you can play CoD 5 with thousands of other people.

First of all ps3 has a faster and better online community. And another thing is ps3 has 3x better graphics then the 360. O yea blue ray does matter not only for games but especaly for MOVIES!!!

W8 a second here!!!! Ps3 is the system with blue ray and the ps3 also has the COD serios . Im not sure about gears of war though. Man im surprised no one corrected this HUGE mistake.

the ps3 is loads worse graphics, and the only reason i'd get it is 4 little big planet, whereas, theres loads of exclusive games 4 the 360 that i'd also like, so...
ps3 i think is way better it has better graphics x box 360 may have more games but the ps3 is catching up and slowly people r playing more attention to it rather than the x box
The Xbox 360 is disappointing in some ways that will make you wish you did not buy the system.Like when you get 1 red light with error E 74 or 3 lights that which is you have the three rings of death and your Xbox 360 will not work but if you want some luck get three towels wrap it around your Xbox 360 and turn it on unplug everything else and leave on for 30-25 minutes then let it cool down for 25-15 mintues then it should work as shown on YouTube for more information.Now the PlayStation 3 I do not have but I hope I get one on my BirthDay is fun graphics are good and all but just stick with what you think is best for you or your family for fun or if you want family fun buy the Nintendo Wii.
wow @powerbboy10... K obviously u haven't played the ps3, and are some xbox gamer nerd.. Cuz obviously no one wants a machine that play blu ray because u know blu ray sucks balls (sarcasm)... If you want to send a machine in every year because of the Red ring of death go ahead.... but ya, its a bunch of bull. Everyone thinks games suck for the ps3, which is not true. The ps3 has same as xbox 360.... farcry 2, fallout 3, cod waw, rb2, gh3, nhl 09... Xbox has GOW 2,Fable 2, and L4D (which is coming out for ps3 later on), and ps3 has lil big planet, and Resistance 2, and motor storm, which each of these are amazing games... But i gotta say i prefer GOW 2 10X over halo cuz halo sucks, and resistance 2 is the same if not btr as GOW2 due to co-op online and great online matches... not to mention xbox u gotta pay for online which is pretty gay...
If your smart, want btr graphics, want a cheap blu ray, that is almost as good as actual blu ray players, good online community, no cost online play, and dont want to send a system in every 4-6 months because of the red ring of death get the ps3...
Xbox 369? Kingmike there's no such thing. =P I'd pick PS3 because I have a PS2 but Wii is as awesome as PS3, what's so good about Xbox? You supporting Microsoft because you belive Bill Gates will reward you with a new PC or Xbox 360 Elite?
