I've been procrastinating on buying a new console (you know, distracted by ArmorGames 'n all).. I've heard good things about both, and both are now in my price range. Right now it seems like Xbox360 is the favorite, but in 5 years which one will be on top? I've always been a PlayStation person, and I feel like it could possibly make a comeback. My PlayStation is also my DVD player, so having that BlueRay would also be nice.. what are the upsides to the 360? And ultimately, which one is better?
Xbox 360, hands down. The PS3 just seems entirely useless to me, and barely a step up from the PS2. Xbox 360 consists of amazing games such as Dead Rising, Halo 3, Tales of Vesperia, Skate, Rock Band, etc, and even the Xbox Arcade games are great.
For those of you that haven't tried out both systems... Jus go and accept the fact your all Phailz. Sory to be mean about it, but COD5, COD4, Assasins Creed, Blah blah is all MUTLI-PLATPHORM.
And what your looking at is to CONSOLES. Grafikz for the PS3, some say the lighting on the Xbox is better but that doesn't really matter, the PS3 can also run your movies better -- The PS3 is coming out with new games. Gears of war 2 -- The Gears Franchise is not limited to MIKROSAWFT -- And people are thinking of a Switchover to PS3.
Games pervious like Bioshock and a few others are coming out for the PS3, being later probably being better, as well.
The PS3 also has its few release games that Xbox gamers dont' know about because they're a little ignorant.
The Xbox is bought more because of the cheaper price, but a cheaper price shouldn't demean a higher priced object.
The PS3 Small-Prince Network games are VERY fun.
And the new PS3 games that will come out in the next few years as the industry booms will totally squash the Xbox -- Its older, and the PS3 is better. Rawr. The Xbox has had a few years to throw games out, so if you look at it this way, in 5 years when the new "Console wars" release... The PS3 might be leading with alot of Xbox-Phailz realizing they should have bought one. xD
The ps3 is a HUGE stepup from the Ps2, It involves more graphics, and larger games, Also, the new "HOME" feature will easily own the Xbox "Live", seeing as not only can we meet people we can start our own games.
Ps3 exclusive games are also very fun -- Just a little more pricey, you might need a better TV, but go suck it if you can't pay up, then you shouldn't talk over the 2 Systems considering you A) Haven't tried the PS3 or B) Just think the value makes it suck
Lastly, the PS3 includes MANY more features, it has more memory, and we have a movee store. The memory allows us to download and KEEP games.
On the Halo issue: Its old, only people that LOVE Halo still play, a game will never live forever.
Also, ps3 gaming with a friend over is way kewl.
In my humble optomistic opinion I say the Ps3 pwnz all, and it works great with my TV. Some people aren't rich enough, but just because they aren't does NOT mean that the Ps3 sucks.
