I've been procrastinating on buying a new console (you know, distracted by ArmorGames 'n all).. I've heard good things about both, and both are now in my price range. Right now it seems like Xbox360 is the favorite, but in 5 years which one will be on top? I've always been a PlayStation person, and I feel like it could possibly make a comeback. My PlayStation is also my DVD player, so having that BlueRay would also be nice.. what are the upsides to the 360? And ultimately, which one is better?
yea haah PSN? compared to Xbox live hmmmmm it lies about " lag free connection " i was playing Motor Storm and i was lagging soooo bad it wasnt funny, Xbox lags too but they didnt say " We Dont lag cause better connection " Playstation did making it Big fat ugly but hole liar.
360 is better for now but by the end of '08 ps3 will be at the top. as 4 blu-ray, alot of companies like the storage space compared to hd-dvd. Plus HAZE and UT3!
The potential of the PS3 is much higher. Sony is not accomplishing 15% of the things they set out for. Due to the 360's excellent variety of games, it pretty much owns the ring in this one. It's sad to see such an advanced machine go down early but the PS3 is going to need some thunder to outweigh Microsoft's monopoly. Though the PS3 graphics are slightly better, it is still number 2 in my book
This one is easy in my opinion. All you have to do is decide whether you want to play lots of games (360), or fork over more than a grand and get maybe one or two games to play (PS2). It's not hard to decide when it's put in perspective.
you should definatley get a PS3! The blu-ray discs can hold so much more data than dvds and it is free to play online. Also you may not be able to play games like halo, but you will get some playstation exclusive games like wipeout HD and uncharted: Drake's fortune.
you and I might not know what this means, but the 360 does 1 terraflop, PS3 does 2, and terra means 1000 so a big difference there. And I think terraflop relates to proccesing power. Also theres and internet browser on the PS3, and soon there will be a free online game called home, which will be similar to second life. And don't forget Little Big Planet! Thats gonna be a great game!
