I've been procrastinating on buying a new console (you know, distracted by ArmorGames 'n all).. I've heard good things about both, and both are now in my price range. Right now it seems like Xbox360 is the favorite, but in 5 years which one will be on top? I've always been a PlayStation person, and I feel like it could possibly make a comeback. My PlayStation is also my DVD player, so having that BlueRay would also be nice.. what are the upsides to the 360? And ultimately, which one is better?
Accualy there is basha. I would go 360. It has the best online and lost of very good games. Sure it redrings rarely for some people (me) but i still wouldnt trade it in for a ps3.
Trust what other people have previously trusted it. The 360. There is the RROD (Red Ring of Death) but if you buy a new one, that problem will be eliminated, for the most part (they fixed that problem I believe). XBox 360 has WAY better games. The sales list for games that have sold over 1 million copies for XBox 360 blows the PS3's out of the water. You can wikipedia the "list of top sold video games" to see how much the 360 is beating PS3. And there is a good reason for that, because the 360 is better.

Generally, I don't think people know what the Wii can do. -Go online (yes, you can surf the web like I am now) -use keyboards for online (Plug in USB keyboard) -DS download play for free demos -Create Mii's (can be used in ingame play like Mario Kart) -Vote Channel -Weather Channel -News channel -Shop channel (For buying old games for use on the Wii) -Photo channel AND IT's ALL FREE! (even the online play, which usually isn't that great.) But, of course you have to buy the old games.

sorta like you know a computer? oh yeah except for the miis which are just stupid and top sold games dont make them good games i.e. nintendogs and madden and for every good 360 game you name i can name a good ps3 game that is out or soon to be released
all the ps3 fan boys will tell you its better Facts3 had nothing better that 360 doesnt have so they bought the HD dvd franchise so Microsoft had to stop producing their HD players.
PS3 online is free because it sucks and no one likes it
IF you have a PC (which you obviously do) then got for the 360. The PS3 is just a PS2 with a PC and a blu-ray player stuck into it. By this time next year, most CD roms will be blu-ray combatable, so there really is no point buying a PS3 just for that capability. Stick with the 360. Its got more games and the wireless controllers mean more multiplayer fun.
