I've been procrastinating on buying a new console (you know, distracted by ArmorGames 'n all).. I've heard good things about both, and both are now in my price range. Right now it seems like Xbox360 is the favorite, but in 5 years which one will be on top? I've always been a PlayStation person, and I feel like it could possibly make a comeback. My PlayStation is also my DVD player, so having that BlueRay would also be nice.. what are the upsides to the 360? And ultimately, which one is better?
well i have an ps3 myself and i played also xbox360, i have too admit that the xbox 360 is cheaper cuz it uses an older version of graphics, the new one is blue ray disc for ps3 but its pretty expensive, also, i just bought an game (haze) for ps3 platform, the graphics are VERY good, so iam glad i didn't pick out xbox360, but still, ps3 is very expensive and also are the games, you can go online for free and download games for free but still it is expensive.
The 360 for so many reasons. First, it's cheaper. I'm not too sure of how many people will buy the PS3 if it's like $100-200 more than the 360 and they're almost identical consoles. If you do, you're a fool. Second, Playstation 3 doesn't have the great games of Halo 3 OR Bioshock. Third, soo many more people play online for the Xbox 360.
ok a few things about this.....im going to have to choose Xbox360 on this cause of the following reasons:
1. you dont HAVE to have an HDTV to play the 360, even on a regular TV it has good quality/ PS3 needs an HDTY to play 2. there are more choices for 360 than ps3 (and what i mean is xbox didnt take games from ps3 like ps3 did) 3. xbox still is cheaper than PS3, even if PS3 lowered the price
so with that i say xbox is teh better choice
the ONLY thing PS3 has better than 360 (and this is still debateble) is the fact that PS3 has much better graphcis than the 360....and thats all i heard
xbox 360 because the graphics are way better its a heck of a lot cheaper and i have one and it has never malfunctioned on me or anything so get an xbox360 instead. Plus there aren't that many good games for the PS3. So definetly get an XBOX 360
ok let me give you the general up's and downs of both
PS3 pros:blu-ray,free online cons:less exclusive games, and less frequently updated online
xbox 360 pros:better online service thats worth the few dollars you pay each month and it makes up for the fact that you payed $200 less anyways seriously doesn't anyone realize that,anyways also theres alot more exclusive games, and more available hardware that can be bought for the 360 cons:more likely to break down(but it has a warranty anyways),and it doesn't have blu-ray(and if you don't have an hdtv then it doesn't even matter)
but really lets face the facts if you have a ps3, but not a 360, or vice-versa, your probably going to try to self off the idea that your console is better trust me it happens like for instance I have a 360 so I make it seem better but if you really want a good idea you shouldn't be asking people who most likely are extremely biase and only know one side of the story, I mean who knows ps3 could be better or I could be right, but you usually need to ask people who have both, so you can get a unbiased accurate oppinion on the topic(oh by the way just in case you don't know biase means one-sided)
Hmmm, well, both are almost the same... But, I have to go with PS3. Since, I've played the PS3 before at my friend's house. And my other friend has Xbox360. But the games suck, unlike PS3! And besides, I've been playing a PS for a long time! XD
