Hackers caused PSN to shutdown, but I'm really mad that it has taken Sony, a multi trillion dollar company, 3 (going on 4) DAYS to take care of the problem. That's a fail
Yeah, Finally they said it's a very high possibility that it will be on on, May 3rd so cross your fingers! But, When it does come on there's a 90% chance it will crash again because of all the people rushing to get online and there will be so many people on at one time that it will crash ha ha, yeah I can't wait to play Nazi zombies :/ its boring on single player
they said that this week they will be resporting playstation network gaming services, video, and music services this week (may third hmmmm?) and as compensation they will give us 30day playstation + free, qruircity whatever that it, free for 30 days, premium downloads, free :P woo
Many people are saying that is was many hackers but it was really just one. One person crashed the whole network. I love PS3 and I own stock in Sony but face it, when it comes to security Xbox has us beat. I have 5 different accounts on PS3 because its FREE. When everyone who owns a PS3 makes and account thats one thing, but when about 2/3 of them have more than one account its hard to keep track. Also, I have fake names, email addresses, home addresses, etc. so unless they look at my IP address they won't know my location. Xbox Live is a paid account. Not many people on Xbox make a new account or pay to change they're name. Less users, more control to lock unruly users accounts and the paper trails of the users money makes it much more difficult for hackers to kill the system. Graphix and all that is a different story and people are blinded by that. I see the same arguments about PS3 and Xbox all the time. Bring the facts to the table.
I heard about that. That is why you don't go free. pay the buck to get the paid account. And yes X Box 360 is a lot better. And well more safe and your information is well protected. I feel really bad about the people that got hacked and so on.
im sorry but that stil does not answer my question about psn+ from what i have picked up, we get free downloads for a month. right? (if this is true, new black ops map coming out may 3rd to xboxlive...)
playstation + is a thing you can buy online that gets you premium downloads. you can get free games, you can get full games that are downloadable at less then full price. its the sort of thing that if you have enough money to buy games all the time, get it so they dont cost as much. idk i dont have it so dont take my word for it
well that makes sense. and we get this around may 3rd right? and if it only lasts a month, we might just miss the black ops dlc and basicly what there doing is puting everything on the playstation store on discont right?

Do you own a PSP that has the network on it? A blue ray player of theirs might have you make an account, an TV that streams Netflix and other internet things?
