Hackers caused PSN to shutdown, but I'm really mad that it has taken Sony, a multi trillion dollar company, 3 (going on 4) DAYS to take care of the problem. That's a fail

lol. so has anyone heard of any NEW dates of when psn will be back? i've heard may 5th, end of the week, and may 11th.

Of course it is. their firewall sucks... Every time i come to armour games, someone always has a post that says PSN IS DOWN... always!!!

Of course, because there are people posting on this thread a lot. And for good reason, too.

Said here they should have some of PSN working by the end of the week.

Wonder if it'll really end there...

hes not trolling and anyways psn got hacked by anonomys or however you spell it. they tried to get xbox live but thye detected it to fast for them to do anything.

Hopefully the black ops map pack that is coming out in about a month will be free!

it wont be, you figure the 70+ million psn players, probably 20 million at least that bought black ops. maybe 1/10 will download the map packs, so that puts it at 5 million downloads, 10 bucks each, 50 million :O but thats all me taking edjucated guesses, its probably less.

Anyone have any ideas on why psn hasnt updated their status at all in the past 5 days?

Today I noticed that it actually tried to sign on. So they may have the servers up, but they are still working.

yeah they said that they would be having servers come back by region. i heard that some people have been getting on an some people arent. i wanna play psn

Funny how when I decide to plug my PS3 back in, a giant PSN crash happens. Great job Sony. I'm going back to Mass Effect 2 and Halo Reach.
