Hackers caused PSN to shutdown, but I'm really mad that it has taken Sony, a multi trillion dollar company, 3 (going on 4) DAYS to take care of the problem. That's a fail
or mabye to hack xbox you would have to hack the entire microsoft network? whereas sony isn't that big a companie like microsoft and dosen't have the best firewalls.
but it is possible someone could hack xbox. even if its a big, protected system there will be some kinks. and don't start contradicting what i say because i have an xbob, psp and a ps2.
What? PS3 is a hell of a lot better than the **** Xbox! They have the great security like PSN does! Don't talk **** about the PS3!

keeton stop being a ****, were trying to help the situation. on the brighter side of things there was an update released. http://blog.us.playstation.com/2011/05/05/a-letter-from-howard-stringer/ "In the coming days, we will restore service to the networks and welcome you back to the fun." So it will be back in "a few days" again :/ that doesnt mean a few days, but it could be a few days considering its been three weeks. they are working with the fbi too and they are really working hard to find the hackers responsable and "Hackers, after all, do their best to cover their tracks, and it took some time for our experts to find those tracks and begin to identify what personal information had â" or had not â" been taken." 'our experts to find those tracks' they might be onto the hackers? then maybe they can open psn early? that would be great. stay patient, dont think it will come back anytime soon considering no confirmed date is out. play multiplayer games to keep you busy, like colony or other games considering they have more re playability and will keep you busy.

The testing of the whole system was in its final stages as of Thursday, and it should be up by tonight or hopefully tomorrow..... And to all of you people that say that we PSN users are SOL for credit cards and stuff, we all get something like one year or so of free identity theft guard through some other company.
Hmmh. They're trying to fix it, so let's not make this a huge "rumble". It's a pity, that our family might've lost some money, since the hacker(s) stole credit card numbers/money from the PSN accounts.
Hope it will be open again, soon. I really want to go play some of my games online. Well, atleast I have my loyal Wii.
