You seee guys, this is why x box is better!!! ever heard on the news that xbox crashed? nope! but playsttion, yes. anyways, im not hating the psn but that really sucks. its crazy to think some guy across the world is taking private information.

Any news on the Lawsuit with Sony? And I agree with Jackson Xbox360 Micro Soft since it's a computer based company they know how to make sure there online stuff is safe and almost hacker proof. And I don't hate the system just it was also buggy and had a ton of flaws. And look what happens Sony get's a billion dollar lawsuit charge on them.

everyone saying "xbox is better and has a better security system" etc. STU. it gets this thread off topic. only talk about news relating the psn. and saying the xbox is unhackable is only making it sound like a better target to hack. plus everyone paying on xbox through credit cards, well thats most people, identity theft out the whoha

Apparently no Xbox user is capable of reading any links provided... Visa & Mastercard have not detected any theft directly related to the stealing, and with the iAllClear identity theft, it should be near-impossible to find. This is seriously why there are huge stereotypes on Xbox users, I have seen one Xbox user on this thread that hasn't tried to start a console war. Honestly, you people reinforce all of our prejudices.

Back on-topic... I wouldn't be surprised if they had PSN back up by saturday night or monday morning, as most employees would probably have the day off for Mother's Day.

I am undecided what to think about PSN. It doesnt surprise me to a point because with Microsoft, you pay to use their XBox live, but with PSN is free so they have to money from it to spend on updating anti-hack software, but people shouldn't be hacking things at all. Its wrong and causes problems for everyone including themselves.

That is why the 360 is better.

they released a staement syaing it would be back up this week, so its either gonna be back up today or tommorow, or ill be ver very very annoyed

well that doesnt mean they were right. first statement they released was "itl be back in a day or two"

'Final stage' sounds pretty concrete to me, I'd think it shouldn't take more than a few days.

congratulations on that elite post. someone was talking about the 'final testing stages' and said it could take a day or two or another week based on problems that arise. but come on, another week? its been 2 and a half weeks, they've got to have ironed out post of the problems
