Hackers caused PSN to shutdown, but I'm really mad that it has taken Sony, a multi trillion dollar company, 3 (going on 4) DAYS to take care of the problem. That's a fail
Wow, this was created when it was 3-4 days down. The online fixed at about 25 days, but they are still working on getting the PlayStation Store back up and running. I would really like an Xbox, but the online actually costs, that why I don't have one already.
Playstation Store is working for me. If it doesn't work the first time, keep trying, because there are a lot of users on.
Here's a story. My brothers and I all have PSN accounts. So first, my brother got the 2 free games. Then I went on my account, and got 2 more games (free). Then, my other brother went on his account and he got the last game free.
what about now im gonna get a ps3 in 1 week will i still be able to get the free games?
I believe the problem has been settled for now. Likely, the issue will not up rise again. Either way, you can still play games on the PS3, you just wouldn't have any access to the Playstation Network when it is down.
lol, thats y xbox is better then ps3, they say they get free online, well that y u get hacked, xbox has better security
y u type liek dis? Anyway onto the topic, when I heard of this, I laughed so hard, but that was when I was a microsoft fanboy. Since then, I've gone back to my PS2 and played the classics on there. And now, I'm going to be saving up fo a PS3 because other than the network getting hacked, I've heard nothing but good things about the PS3. And free online= an extra $60 a year in my pocket.
