What do you think about the new wii that is going to be announced at the E3? It's suppose to have better than the xbox 360 and the PS3.

you aren't being fair with it

It had 4 years until another console moved into the house I think a little less then 35 games have been in and out of it (thanks to gamefly) I think I was fair enough.
Well lets turn back to the Gamecube 2 thing I mentioned early. I think It would have a better chance of bringing back it's prewii customers If it was less focused on motion control and more focused on improving it's gaming content. For the Wii2 to be truely successful it would need to focus on it's gaming content
YES
-more accurate remotes (without those extra things)
-HD capability
-Better online

Would be an improvement but I'd rather see games similar to socom4, Halo, fable, or Killzone before I would "be fair with it"

you do know everyother console has done the same things as the wii but way better so yeah it totally beats everyother console

Notice how the Wii has more sales, which ultimately dictates that people want the Wii more than the others.

You are basing the other consoles compared to the Wii on...what exactly? Graphical capacity? Alright, and what else? The accessories that were ripped from the motion sensing of the Wii? Alright, and...what else?

Just be assured that, if the Wii were really that terrible, that maybe, just maybe, the Wii wouldn't be sold as much as the other two. But wait! Why does the Wii have more sales? It's as if there is something about the Wii that entices people to buy it. But it can't be the other two consoles, because they are just like the Wii, but "way better"!

In all honesty, Yugioh, graphical capacity and "cinematized" gameplay does not make a game. And I hope that you will understand that some day.

right you do know anyone can make a graph hell i could make one that is exactly like nemo's but it would be gameboy (just thought of it) in the lead and the rest at like 100 sales is that good no but its a graph so it must be true

Maybe the wii sells more because more 8-year-olds beg their parents for it?

Must every console house the same games in order to be great? Must every fast food restaurant have every variation of a meal in order to be popular? It must make sense, since Burger King jacked McDonalds' egg, sausage, and cheese muffin thingymabober, and since the 360 and PS3 jacked the Wii's unique motion-sensing capabilities.

It should be a law! In order to start a gaming console, you must agree to be able to house every single game in development, as well as being able to have all the accessories that other consoles have!

Y'know...to avoid monopolies...and stuff.

And maybe the same could go for the 360. Because, you know, I hear 8 year olds every time I play them on CoD. Or maybe age has nothing to do with the sales of both the hardware and the software. Because even the E-rated games on sale get 7's 8's and 9's on the game review scale.

Now popularity...that's a whole different wedge of cheese. I like how BlackOps only has a 7.7/10 while an underground game, "Phantom Brave: We Will Meet Again", has an 8.7/10. Well, this wouldn't seem right would it? Popularity means the game is much better than the underground games, right?

The wii will always be inferior to the competition, but I guess for the more casual (and by casual I mean newbie) player would like this kind of gaming environment. Like I said, I don't expect too much, but I still think it should be better then the current consoles (technical wise).

Actually, Nintendo, back in the good ol' NES days, had something like this, which equated to the motion sensing:

The wii will always be inferior to the competition

Inferior to the competition? What area of the competition are you thinking about? I'm bringing up the sales argument again, sorry if you're tired of it. Someone brought up "quantity does not mean quality", but why else would the Wii be more favorable than the other 2? Is it the same instance as CoD and simply is more popular? Or is it something else?

Apparently the PS2 Eyetoy was as well (looking at an earlier post). But again, which, out of the three, founded motion-sensing gaming? Nintendo. They should have copyrighted that method. that's where my argument was, not whether the motion-sensing device back in the day was terrible.

Yes, because &quotrofessional reviewers" know much better about gaming than gamers.

You get points from me, Freakenstein, if you can actually back up your hypothesis via correlation. As in, back up your reasoning with evidence. Correlate "sales" with "cheap" and you get points.

Almost the same reason why movies like "never say never" and "2012" made huge success. I mean people enjoy the wii because of it's friendly and casual environment. And there are more casual players out there then normal or hardcore players.
