Anybody who plays a game is a gamer. But if they really wanted to review the game, they should instead spend time on that one game instead of "laying 15 games a month". I wasn't asserting that they aren't gamers, but the notion that they somehow can review more than the common people.

I never did say that sales make the better hardware, but rather the sales are making the hardware competitive. If the Wii is so terrible compared to the other two consoles, then why in blazes is it selling so well? I will concede to Loloynage that the Wii's library contains significantly more casual games than the other two, unless there are a lot of underground games that I don't know about. Because that is a fact! The Wii's focus are on the casual, lightweight games.

The wii will always be inferior to the competition, but I guess for the more casual (and by casual I mean newbie) player would like this kind of gaming environment. Like I said, I don't expect too much, but I still think it should be better then the current consoles (technical wise).

I'm sorry if it sounded like that. But I said technical wise, the wii is inferior, but the fun factor is all about the opinion of who plays it.
There are tons of good games on the Wii, bluerabbit.
i know that. but there are much more bad games. and i dont count wii sports/wii fit or any other games like that good games because you really dont play them more then 1 hour 2 times a week (and thats if you really like those games.) when i talk about good games i talk mostly about games that have plot and are meant to be played for a longer time period
They need to make it the Gamecub 2 because the Wii was an Epic fail. If they made games more like ps3 and xbox they would be more successful.A Optional motion control is okay but motion control shoved into ever single game is over kill. Long live controller games!
id degfinitely buy a gamecube 2. i never had a gamecube and i bought some games i always wanted so i could play them on the wii (one of the reasons why the wii itself is a great console). the gamecube is actually my fav console even though i never had one. and i dont think the motion is that important. its nice for some games but you actually get used to it and its not that special anymore. i LOVE controlers XD

ha this is funny no, there will most likely be no wii2. manly because of all u haters. no, no, no, no it will be a difernt system all together. just look n64-gamecube-wii or gameboy-gameboy advance- ds- dsi-3ds aside from the ds stuff, nientendo goes completly differnt. they know what there doing. that is why i like nientendo. they make good games and are the first to put in new ideas to the gameing world. look, the wii is able to compete with the ps move, xbox kinnect, xbox360 and ps3. the gamecube would be able to compete with xbox and ps3 if it had wifi. the way i see it, microsoft-wi-fi, good quallity games ps3-exelent graphics niendendo-ideas all three should come together to make one awesome consol. i know, it will never happen but it would be awesome.
Not only would the mega console monopolize the gaming market, the successive consoles afterwards would be terrible, because there is no competition to force creativity and uniqueness. It is healthy that there are other games in the competition for sales, though it is not healthy to bash any given console without a strong basis.

And plus, the only reason Wii failed is becasue it's games were too family oriented. Sure, Resident's Evil 4 on the Wii is a blast, but they need more of those games if they want my money. And plus, why buy a whole new console when I can get the Move?
