You run from the desolate cliff, and are luckily not followed by any shadows of any kind. To be safe, you continue running, glancing back at the cliff every so often.
As you run, flecks of shadow seem to collect and disperse. Suddenly, a larger group of flecks forms something like a face that rushes and floats beside you as you run. Without warning, your are blasted back and to the ground by an unseen force.
When you get up, the face of shadow still hovers five feet from you, giggling wickedly.

The phantom's flames intensify so much that they begin curling up the walls of the invisible barrier. You feel the heat around you increase, but surprisingly, the phantom's face remains calm.
The phantom hovers back a few yards, next to a large boulder. After a couple seconds, a groan of pain comes from behind the boulder. Using some wicked form of magic, the phantom levitates a man out from behind the rock... The man turns his head toward you.
Your heart drops. The phantom you've taunted, teased, and irked has possession of Aspero, who is helpless.
Then, faintly, "Help... J-James... h-help..."
Now, the phantom drops Aspero, who moans, returns to the edge of the barrier, and smiles at you, daring you to try.
