This was Sheppard007's idea. I really am bad at limericks! But I hope people would like to contribute their limericks. You never know, you just might become fresh talent!
Can you explain what a limerick is and maybe give an example? I'm searching Wikipedia, but I'm a little confused about the metric feet and all that jazz.
Limerick: AABBA, five lines, usually with a lot of wit and humor.
Example There once was a man from Peru Who had a lot of growing up to do, Heâd ring a doorbell, then run like hell, Until the owner shot him with a .22.
If the first line ends with blue, Then with a rhyme ends line two, But not line three, It rhymes with four you see, But line five rhymes with line one too.
I wrote a limerick to explain what a limerick is, just for the lols.
@Sheppard007, you can make up your own OR Google them. Whichever you desire. @iMogwai, thank you for that. I'll admit I didn't have a clear idea as to how to write a limerick. Now, I can write one!
