This was a good idea, but does the amount of syllables matter?

usual syllable count
line 1: 7-9 syllables, usually 8
line 2: 7-9 syllables (same amount as 1)
line 3: 6-7 syllables
line 4: 6-7 syllables (same amount as 3)
line 5: 7-9 syllables (same amount as 1)

The Efan Adventures.

An Efan fell out a plane,
his life going down the drain,
he took a look down,
saw the whole town,
and found himself in pain.

An Efan once went splat,
scaring a poor rat,
the rat flew high,
afraid it might die,
and fell into the arms of a cat.

As Efan crawled away,
he caught the scent of hay,
little did he know,
forgetful and slow,
this town wouldn't welcome his stay.

Strangers passed on by,
ignoring Efan's cry,
he wasn't staid,
he needed aid,
he's seeing blood red sky.


^I created those months and months ago, not sure if I can do better ones now.

this man who was named bob
his soul from his body was lobbed
up on earth from down below
& to him the demons say hello
now forever he shall sob

hooray for continuances!

There once was a chicken named Gary,
He thought life on the farm was scary,
So he moved to L.A,
Started a Thai Take-away,
And married a wombat named Mary.

If this seems random to you, it's because I just made it up on the spot without really a theme nor plan. Hope you like it anyway.

There once was a boy who was dense,
He had thrown away all his pence,
Then was hit by a plane,
And was filled with distain,
But this limerick makes no sense.

There once was a duck from France
He loved to frollock and dance
He's a hit with the ladies
And songs from the 80's
He always posted mean rants

There once was a man named Stu,
When he got older he grew,
He had grown so high
That he touched the sky,
And all of his skin turned blue.

There once was a guy named Dan
One day he broke his han',
He screamed out in pain,
As he traveled to Spain,
Where he was hit by a van!

There once was an old man named Graham,
He always liked eating canned ham,
He was filled with delight,
But then more so with fright,
When he realized the can said SPAM!

I'll try one.

One day I had bad fright
I woke up sudden in the night
and saw a shadow standing near
it was speaking, I didn't hear
instead I lunged for the light.
