PC. What *most* Mac users don't get is that I can go ahead and BUY OSX Lion, and put on my PC if I wanted to. Boom. Instant Mac for a cheaper price, Windows 7 on the same system, and then be able to use programs for Windows and not have to have different computers.
You can do that on a Mac with Boot Camp, which is already included in OS X. If you don't like it, there's other boot utility software for Macs out there. No need for a separate system either.
My main problem with Macs (and any sane person's, in my view) really isn't the OS itself, I rather like it, but the overpriced, underpowered Apple machines it's inevitably bound to.

True, but you would have to buy the Mac in the first place, which, even at an entry level Mac, costs around 800⬠or $1000.
I like them both Mac- Macs are faster but cost a lot more. But i hate the mouse but you will get use to it. I like the mac for photo shop since I am use to it but for games not so much. Pc- I like it a little bit better because it is my choice for gaming because it has a larger selection of games and on the mac files get confusing on cod waw but on pc it is not. The mouse on the pc is much better for gaming because it has 2 or 3 buttons instead of the Mac's 1 or 2.
1.They dont get viruses 2.they are used by most people in the business world 3.they out perform the pc in all ways
1. Neither do competent PC users with antivirus software. Frankly, if you're significantly exposing yourself to viruses in any OS, you should have your computer taken away.
2. That's the most insanely untruthful sentence I've read all day. I'm sure TV makes you think that, though.
3. That's a meaningless statement, because "the pc" doesn't exist. PCs aren't limited like Macs. You can have PCs with configurations undreamed by Mac users. A PC at the price of an iMac will have superior specs.
Sorry for double post. This forum needs an edit function.

Another wildly inaccurate statement. No Apple mouse has 1 button, nor are you obligated to use one. I used a Microsoft mouse with four buttons on my Mac.

Macs aren't faster because refer to point 3 in my previous post.
You missed out on the malware that just hit something like 600,000 Macs didn't you?
they are used by most people in the business world
Once upon a time they were used by movie makers, photographers, and a couple of other businesses, but that has changed. Macs no longer have the only capable software in those fields.
they out perform the pc in all ways
This is just ridiculous. If you pay as much for a PC as you do a Mac, you would have an awesome PC and an expensive paperweight.
Apparently the newest Macbook Pro that is coming out was deemed the most "Unfixable and Upgradable Computer Ever".
First of all, its hard to remove the hull. Then, everything inside is soldered to the motherboard, meaning you can't replace or add RAM, you can't replace the battery, and if the screen breaks you need to replace the entire system. This also means that if the soldered in parts are blocking other parts (such as the battery blocking the track pad wire), then you can't replace those parts easily either. Then to top it all off, you can't put any other hard drive in there unless Apple makes one that can fit.
The company, Ifixit, said "Apple has packed all the things we hate into one beautiful little package."
Macs are great for people with either extreme imaginations (for all you video/music people) or no imaginations. Apple really controls what can be changed about their products. Also, Macs are noticeably more expensive for equivalent performance.
PCs have WAY more variety and customization options. As for viruses, practicing basic security techniques (like firewalls and denying access to suspicious programs/scripts) protect both PCs and Macs. Macs are a bit more reliable than the AVERAGE PC, but way more of a pain to try to fix. "The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at or repair." -Douglas Adams, novelist, Mac-user
