It would be hard to say which one I like more, but since I have both a PC (Laptop) and a Mac (OS X) I can render a more valuable opinion. Right now I am using my PC, which is fantastic at running games of all sorts and watching videos, but the issue I have frequently is lag or errors. On too many occasions have I had to refresh a page over 10 times for it to load, and errors with sound and display can get very annoying. My Mac on the other hand seldom comes to error issues or or slow connection, and quality such as appearance is spot on. Running some games however can have a negative effect. While running a flash game, the Mac can sometimes freeze and you'll have to force quit out of the application.
Both systems have their ups and downs, but for me I'd have to say I like the Mac more, its user interface seems much more friendly to me.
I prefer Windows because if you like games that are very old at all it is often only PC. Not to mention outrageous prices. And for some reason Mac mouses are always sooo slow. Just my opinion.
Reason why that happened was when he PC and mac where new, the PC released its source code, but the mac didn't. Mac didn't wanna take risks and only recently had any decent games made for it.
Just because Steve Jobs is dead doesn't mean that Mac's will die out. Just like any other company, they will continue their franchise.
Mac's next product, ISteveJobs! A AI Steve Jobs with all his preferences downloaded onto a computer with voice recognition settings and admin commands. Algorithims on who to fire were made personaly by Steve Jobs when he was living.
I prefer a PC over mac any day. Dont be looking at unsecure porn sites or downloading obviously dangerous stuff without an anti virus if your worried about viruses lol. My anti virus has never let a virus in in 6 years.
I've always been more of a PC guy. The main reasons are PC's are typically cheaper. You can play much more games on PC's I won't deny that Mac's have their advantages. If you are going to be doing video or sound editing you'll probably want either macbook pro or the desktop professional model. The whole Mac's get less viruses than PC's always aggravates me. It's slightly true only because they are a smaller target. I dual boot Ubuntu and XP, so I do my web browsing in Ubuntu and avoid even more viruses than Mac users so there.
