Well, yeah. You're just paying for the brand with Macs, and no viruses. But anyone with basic knowledge about computers can prevent viruses on PCs. You'll definitely get a great PC for the price of one Mac, and probably for a lower price too.
Mac for work and the net, PC (Windows mainly) for gaming and for the computer that your willing to watch get thrown off a cliff as long as you still have your Mac. In my experience, Macs are more professional and much more suited for work than PCs, but I hate the new Mac books, as they have no replaceable battery, but I love Imacs, they're the best! But, compatibility is really annoying, and there are few games that can be installed on Mac, not to mention my Mac sucks at using downloaded files!
in terms of gaming a p.c is better because of the wide range of games avalible and the fact that it is mostly designed for that purpose but a Mac is good for office work and things along those lines.
