So November is coming around rather soon...anyone thinking of participating in this crazy excuse for becoming a social recluse?
If you haven't heard of it before, NaNoWriMo involves writing a fifty thousand word novel in November. It's simple really, just type 1667 words per day for thirty days, and you'll have finished your first novel.
I've done it the past three years (completed past two) and recommend it to anyone who enjoys writing. It is a really good way to force yourself to write and greatly improve your writing skills.
Let's stop this before the NaNo thread gets turned into the "your mom's" thread.
Lets stop this before it turns into the (now locked) Nostalgia thread. Stupid rules. Stupid short post. Stupid people who don't follow the rules. Stupid us.
Is 9.5k okay from here?
You're halfway through November, and almost 20% to your goal of 50,000. You better start typing really fast.

I am willing to reconsider, if asked forgiveness. And I don't have to delete short posts and image spam from that thread every day. Anyway.
Had written in advance by t a few days, have now fallen behind with about as much, and I have no motivation to start writing again. Almost got two fifths of the way too, but obviously I have to hit the roadblock of exam paper one and then not caring to do anything over the weekend. And now I have to start the second exam paper. Amusement with this challenge has hit the ground.
Is it any better to need to write 2k words to make it instead, I wonder? It doesn't feel particularly like that. I also think my characters are trying to sabotage the plotline.
