look at religion over the years starting way back at medieval times the crusades or holy war caused many deaths all in the name of Christianity and that they killed people of other religion (i forgot the religion but i believe it was Muslim)in the name of there god and jumping back to modern times you can even base 9/11 on a religion if you can justify so is it not an honor to die suicide bombing or plane jacking if you can justify that you did it in the name of the Muslim god
so basically im looking for the opinion's of people on armor games do you think religion's worth it? please at least attempt to back up your answer
The bible isn't proof at all. You can't prove it's wrong, but then again, you can't prove that it's right. So where do you end up with this? Back where you started; two sides arguing to no end.
On a slightly different note, a lot of the things we (as a people in general) do on a daily basis revolves around some sort of religion. -Want to get married? Got to do it with a Priest. -Church every Sunday, why? I'm willing to bet half the 'church goers' dont want to be there. -Pray before meals and before going to bed. -Holidays; most originated from certain religions. (Christmas, Easter, etc) [I seem to be bashing Christians, and I apologize, but it is the most dominant religion in the United States.] Check this site out http://www.interfaithcalendar.org/2008.htm

well religion wasnt the source of tthose wars they just claimed it was for a reason to get more land and to get more troops by saying stuff like go to heaven if you fight in this war!

religion is abused by peoples everywhere.. i think that's what makes the "roblems" appear, if it seems like im trying to preach it to anyone, I'm not.

Ok this is the only post I read in this whole thread, but I just have to say that that makes no sense at all. No proof either way is what whoever said that meant. You CANT prove the bible isn't true, he said "you can't prove it's wrong", can you read??
That is true. Religion helped people have hope and fill their hearts with what (to me) are lies, so long as they comfort people. Religion is not bad, but as jahsonx said, it's the people who are so much in love with their religion as to go to war for their religion. In a way, it's both worth and not worth it. It really just depends on what your views of life are and your views on religion.
