look at religion over the years starting way back at medieval times the crusades or holy war caused many deaths all in the name of Christianity and that they killed people of other religion (i forgot the religion but i believe it was Muslim)in the name of there god and jumping back to modern times you can even base 9/11 on a religion if you can justify so is it not an honor to die suicide bombing or plane jacking if you can justify that you did it in the name of the Muslim god
so basically im looking for the opinion's of people on armor games do you think religion's worth it? please at least attempt to back up your answer

Well God talked to the people who wrothe the bible. Do u have any proof that the bible is wrong??
Nooooo, he did not. The Council of Nicea just collected all the writings about Jesus, edited them, and then threw out the ones that they didn't like.
There may be no proof that the bible is wrong, but I've grown wary of things made by people higher on the social ladder that have the ability to control people.
It's technically impossible to prove a negative in any but the most narroly defined cases which is why the burden of proof lies on the person making the claims. If you want to prove that God had a direct hand in writing the Bible (maybe even writing the heavily edited Bibles that we read today) then you have to find a way to prove it or all there is to base your claims on is belief which you may have and others may not.
@ a7xfan it is called faith.... we believe/know there is one because we have faith in what we believe.. don't compare Jesus to Dave Cook.. even if you are an atheist you should/do know how much of a slap that is in the face of every religious person in the world..

People that don't believe in religion will say it has caused problems, the crusades, genocide, murder, the list goes on and on. I haven't heard of anything that the reason it happened was because of religion. If you want to say the flood during Noah's time, but I think that was the only thing I can think of, and that was a good thing to an extent.
The thing with religion Vs. Athiesism is that the argurment can never TRUELY be ended until one side or another has "Proof" that the other is wrong, and i dont think thats gunna happen anytime soon. but anyways, i beleieve people everyware have the right to believe whatever they want, just dont go around trying to preach your beliefs to others who have shown that they may believe something different, cause that is what leads to the things like the crusades, holy wars, etc.
So anyways, i respect others who beleive in religion, i simply dont beleieve in it myself.
