look at religion over the years starting way back at medieval times the crusades or holy war caused many deaths all in the name of Christianity and that they killed people of other religion (i forgot the religion but i believe it was Muslim)in the name of there god and jumping back to modern times you can even base 9/11 on a religion if you can justify so is it not an honor to die suicide bombing or plane jacking if you can justify that you did it in the name of the Muslim god

so basically im looking for the opinion's of people on armor games do you think religion's worth it? please at least attempt to back up your answer

Hitler did not kill the Jews for religious reasons. He hated them since after WW1 Germany was in ruins while Isreal made a tremendous profit off the war.

Hitler hated anyone that either wasn't white, or those who were that got in the way.

Organized religion is both a problem and a solution. Nothing is ever as simple as it seems. That's what you learn when you hang around a while. Over time, anything (even Jesus) can become corrupted.

Individual spirituality isn't a bad thing. When it turns into a group movement and tries to tell other people that they should live their lives according to standards not their own, that's a problem.

Hmm emm without religion we would have no morality system and we probably would've wiped eachother out ages ago simply because during medieval times neighbouring countries were allies if they were of the same religion...

Oh and religion is a paradox..Its always gonna be there...And in the long run its probably been worth it

Jews were always hated in europe..They were kicked out of england..So germany aint completely evil..Its just cause they did it with complete efficency

Haha.
Religion only gives false morals. "Homosexuality is wrong!"
Every other moral of ours is a creation of brains and the ability to think logically.
So its rather something against religion.

Not true at all. Firstly, the kings themselves were never really religious.

Now considering religion has led to the creation of classes and slavery. Evil.

Religion has also freed slaves. And NO classes were created by leadership of the village (city, town etc.), that doesn't necessarily mean religious leaders. Many areas didn't have religion at all until later in history!

Hah, slave owners of the 17th century would take out the Bible and refer to a writing that said how slaves should obey their masters.
It was rather a moral understand that people had that got them to abolish it.

Now going back about a ten thousand years.
All were slaves of their "God", the pharaoh.

Many areas didn't have religion at all until later in history!

Oh? Almost every single person has inherited a religion from their parents, unless they, or their parents are athiests or something.

And NO classes were created by leadership of the village (city, town etc.),

Classes were the formation of one obeying another. Who would accept another as their master for any other reasons then religion?
Of course you can use force, but religion makes things much easier!

'Religion is what keeps the poor from murdering the rich.'

Drace, You've made your point! Why do you keep cutting all of us down for what we believe? We all have different opinions, but that doesn't give anyone the right to abuse someone! You have made so many negative comments, I would like to see positive things you have to say. I want to know what you believe!

Religion cannot be blamed for the trouble that has been caused. its the people behind the religion.
