look at religion over the years starting way back at medieval times the crusades or holy war caused many deaths all in the name of Christianity and that they killed people of other religion (i forgot the religion but i believe it was Muslim)in the name of there god and jumping back to modern times you can even base 9/11 on a religion if you can justify so is it not an honor to die suicide bombing or plane jacking if you can justify that you did it in the name of the Muslim god
so basically im looking for the opinion's of people on armor games do you think religion's worth it? please at least attempt to back up your answer
Actually, any flimsy "evidence" that has been used to support evolution are either fake or misunderstood...
While I know this isn't the exact discusion, I'd like to ask you about this. There's a lot of evidence for evolution and not very much against it. If you're going to make a statement like this, please support it with actual evidnce.
That being out of the way I think that religion has had a net positive benifit on humanity as a whole. There's been a lot of good that it's done as a whole (I'd even go so far as to let it take credit for most or the order that we currently have). Have there been problems with religion? Yes, but currently I think the positives outweigh the negatives.

First off, can you even spell? Second, there is much proof of evolution being fake.
Question: Do you believe that there was a world-wide flood?
Considering that the Romans thought the area surrounding the Mediterranean was "The whole world", It's possible that there was a massive flood of that area, thus people at the time thought the whole world was submerged.

Well, there happen to be high mountains in the ares, and Genesis says that "the highest mountains were covered". That would have to be some flood to cover mountains...

We don't have edit buttons on AG so commenting on every spelling mistake is lame.
And more importantly, what is this proof of evolution being fake? I'd just like to know since I was under the impression that the argument in favor of evolution was pretty solid. At least more solid then the "oof and look a giraffe, poof and look a hippo" argument.

Fossils were put there to test our faith, and carbon dating isn't accurate, and is just another ploy put in place by those damn liberal scientists in their attempts to falsify the will of the Lord.
i don't think religion is worth all the trouble it has caused. religion was created by people as a temporary answer to facts e.g. why do plants grow? God makes it. however we do not need religion as much now as we have a lot more knowledge about everything but politics has kept religion too powerful.
I think that you could fairly easily argue that religion allowed for the development of civilization by giving the power to determine your life after death to certain individuals and through them governments which allowed for the control of a population and introduction of laws and rules by which to govern. By creating a means to control populations religion has allowed us to become the humans we are today. Most of the morals established in religions are also things that are 'good' and encourage 'good' behavior, and while the argument can also be made that we only think those things are 'good' because of the society that we're raised in (and thus the religion) that's probably outside of the scope of this discussion.

I'm fairly certain that the majority of the world has been submerged at one time or another, whether or not that is what the Bible describes I have no clue. How is that relevant to the discussion at hand?

I'm going to take the fact you couldn't provide examples and were reduced to attacking the spelling of a post I wrote in two minutes and then glanced over before posting to mean you don't have proof that evolution is fake. Feel free to prove me wrong and point me to a source showing that evolution isn't correct. If it turns out to be true (and that means demonstrable) I'll be more then happy to admit that I'm wrong and start informing the scientific community at large.
First off, thinking that man came out of nothing is messed up! There has been many times when it's been proved that the earth is NOT several millions of years old. The earth is only about 6000yrs old. Dinosaurs were wiped out by a worldwide flood not by some meteor that one can't even prove existed! Animals didn't "evolve" over millions of years, they are all the way they were when created. People didn't "evolve" from monkeys, even though our DNA is CLOSE, its not a match!

In the book of Genesis (first book of the Bible) there is a story about God flooding the entire globe with water, sparing only Noah and his wife and three sons with wives. The fact that when Noah sent off birds and they came back was proof that there wasn't any land to, um, land on.
And i do believe that as a result of the Flood, you can now find fossilized clams on the top of mountains.
